Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club-GPA Match – May 17th 2026

This is a 6 stage Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) match located at the Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club. The rules for GPA can be found at https://galacticpistolalliance.com.
When you register please include your GPA number with the letters GPA preceding your number with no space…. like this GPAXXXX.
The primary changes from IDPA rules are:
-24 rounds maximum
-Carry as many mags as desired
-Mags may be loaded to full capacity
-Use your IDPA rig or your USPSA rig ( no magnets allowed for primary retention)
-One mandatory reload per stage-you decide where and when
-No tactical priority while shooting in the open
-You can drop a loaded magazine with no penalty
-Ported and compensated barrels allowed in all divisions
-Unlimited steel targets
-Unlimited non-threats
No cover garment required
-1/2 second scoring
Same Rules as IDPA:
Must slice the pie from fault lines at points of cover
If exposed to open targets you must engage those first before moving to cover
Fault lines at windows and ports slice the pie
Ports and Windows with no fault line, targets are considered in the open and can be shot in any order
Gun Divisions:
Barrel length includes compensator.
FSO-Full Size Optic (barrel between 4.1″-5.4″)
FSI- Full Size Irons (barrel between 4.1″-5.4″)
CPO-Compact Pistol Optic ( barrel 4.1″ or less)
CPI-Compact Pistol Irons (barrel 4.1″ or less)
LCP-Low Capacity Pistol. This division is both iron and optic guns( barrel 5.3 inches or less and all loading devices limited to 10 rounds or less)
Revolver- Up to 6″ barrel, maximum 6 round capacity
The match fee is $40 for all participants.
Check in starts at 8AM. Mandatory New Shooter meeting(new to our match) at 8:15AM. SO/RO stage walk through at 8:15. Match Safety brief is at 8:45 and we aim to go hot at 9AM.
