Oregon TCGC IDPA Match – September 5 2026
Welcome to Tri-County Gun Club
We’re excited to have you join us at TCGC for our 1911 .45 ACP / Pump Shotgun Classic.
The 1911 .45 ACP / Pump Shotgun Classic celebrates two of America’s most iconic fighting firearms: the .45 ACP 1911 pistol and the 12-gauge pump shotgun. Competitors will face a series of scenario-based shooting challenges designed to test marksmanship, weapon handling, movement, and problem-solving while preserving the classic character of these historic firearms.
This match is intended to be a fun, challenging, and practical shooting event that emphasizes safe gun handling, sportsmanship, and proficiency with two of the most respected firearm platforms ever developed.
We will be utilizing Bays 1–6 and Bay 8.
Please respect all range rules at all times.
TCGC High Muzzle Rule
No muzzles of loaded firearms above the berm.
A firearm is considered loaded when:
A round is chambered, or
A magazine containing ammunition is inserted and seated in the firearm.
We recognize that the TCGC High Muzzle Rule can be challenging, particularly for shooters who train for real-world, defensive, or duty applications. Competitors are expected to maintain muzzle awareness at all times and comply with all TCGC safety requirements.
Competitor Eligibility
This match is intended for experienced action shooting competitors.
Competitors must have previously participated in a TCGC action shooting event or be approved by the Match Director prior to registration.
