Intown ATL IDPA at Freedom Outdoors Midtown – 15 July 2026
The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please arrive early at the range, pay your match fee at the range check-in desk and help set up, which starts about 5 p.m. all help is welcome. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.

First shots: 6 p.m.
New shooters are welcome! New shooters, or anyone who would like a safety refresher, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you’re not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot.
IDPA ranges are COLD ranges. All weapons will be UNLOADED, in a holster or case, will be slide forward or cylinder closed with the hammer or striker down. All PCCs will be bagged or cased AND have an empty chamber flag inserted. Coming to the line, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
Everyone must help strike props and pickup spent brass after the match and everyone gets out earlier.

We MUST have at least two certified SOs on each squad. If y’all squad together we’ll split you apart.

Closed toed shoes are MANDATORY.
Absolutely NO handling of weapons unless you’re at a designated SAFE TABLE or under direct control of a safety officer during a course of fire. NO handling of ammunition, live or inert, at a safe table.
If you’re coming to the match and you are lawfully carrying a firearm, GO TO AN EMPTY STALL IN BAY 1 TO DOWNLOAD THE GUN. DO NOT download the gun at the safe table.
IDPA no longer allows the use of Sig Sauer P320 pistols or any its variants, including the M17 and M18. You will NOT be allowed to compete with one of these weapons.
