SUMMARY:10 Meter Indoor Airgun Match
DESCRIPTION:The Airgun League runs from January through May. The shoots are on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each of those months with events for rifle and pistol. \nAll shooting is done offhand (standing) at paper targets. The format is “shoulder to shoulder”\, without point dividers\, so some shooting experience is required. There is no coaching or spotting (by another person for the shooter) permitted during the “record” firing periods. \n\nAll shoots are held in the clubhouse and there are club guns available for those of you who don’t have their own.\nJuniors (ages 8 to 18) shoot free\, but those over 16 shoot in the adult classifications.\nCompetition is by classification (shooting against other shooters in your class) except for the high overall scores. A total of twenty (20) shots are fired for record over the course of two ten-minute record firing periods. DESCRIPTION:Camp Lejeune ASP Action Pistol\nSix stages\nMarine Action Shooting Rules\nASP Action Pistol Divisions\nThis match is open to all CAC holders.\nALPHA MATCH\nUnit issued weapons or personal weapons allowed.\nAttire will be service utilities or appropriate civilian attire.\nIf government weapons will be used\, they must have a current limited technical inspection (LTI) and pre-fire inspection (PFI) on file with the owning armory. WTBN will provide appropriate ammunition for all alpha match shooters. Units are responsible for transporting government weapons per Marine Corps and base policies. Letters of transmittal are not required.\nShooters will not be afforded the opportunity to zero or verify zero prior to the match.\nShooters using personal weapons must bring personal ammunition.\nPersonal weapons and ammunition will be inspected by WTBn personnel before use. The following types of weapons/ammunition are NOT authorized:\n•Magnum cartridges\n•Pistol Calibers Larger than 10mm\n•Tracer\, incendiary\, explosive\, or AP ammunition\n•Large format (AR) pistols without stabilizing brace\n•Any weapon not in compliance with state or federal firearms regulations\n•Any curio/relic\, black powder\, or unserviceable firearm\nDuring competition and preparatory activities\, weapons and ammunition tables for government AA&E will be physically separated from those for civilian weapons and ammunition by at least 25 yards to prevent accidental mixing of the two and to provide enhanced physical security. At no time will government ammunition or magazines be used in personally owned weapons or vice versa.\nShooter check-in will be held from 0730-0800 in the inclement weather shelter on Alpha Range located directly across from the WTBn CP RR-131.\nShooter parking will be the parking lot adjacent to RR-131 (WTBN CP)\nBriefs will begin at 0800. If you need to make ready\, check your equipment please do at C Bay (lanes 11-15).\nPlease make sure you fill out an waiver once you enter the building\, and payment is required in order to register and squad.\nThis match will be using PCSL rules and scoring\, with little exceptions to divisions.\nDivisions:\nCompetition (COMP): 2011s/SA/DA pistols. Striker fired guns are welcome too. Other than magazine extensions restrictions (no magazines length past 171.25mm). Other than that no restrictions. Compensators\, porting\, red dots and flash lights are permitted.\nPractical Optics (PO): Striker fired pistols (usually full size) as well as SA/Da pistols. Compensators and porting is not allowed. But magwells\, flashlights\, and lasers are allowed. \nFactory (FACT): Striker fired pistols as well as SA/DA pistols as well. Irons sights ONLY\, no red dot sights.  Magwells are allowed\, but porting/compensators are not.
