DESCRIPTION:Pre-Requisites:\n*Formal training in the firearm platform you are shooting\n*Holster qualified\n*Down range experience with your firearms\n*Pistol/Rifle/PCC only\nYou should have some experience/understanding of competitive shooting.  This is not a class; this is an opportunity to practice.  If you cannot demonstrate a high level of safety with your guns downrange\, you may be asked to observe and not participate. It is highly recommended that you have taken Holster Fundamental class and or USPSA safety class prior to attending\nThis 2-3 hour session will provide an opportunity to practice fundamentals of safe handling in the context of competition. Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun\, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.\nYou will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). This session is geared towards the shooter that is starting out in competition and wants to:\n• Work on getting their USPSA safety card (no card is issued until you have completed the USPSA Safety course)\n • Practice basics • Learn/Practice range officer duties (clock and scoring) Recommended Equipment:\n• Minimum 150 rounds of ammunition for each platform you are bringing.\n• Sturdy Belt & Holster. • Rifles & PCC’s must have a chamber flag.\nIf you have any questions\, please contact Cindy at ccoker@bristleconeshooting.com A minimum of 3 students is required to run the class or it may be canceled/rescheduled.\nPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to class to properly check in and sign the waiver. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday night practice using drills for Stoger\, Heron\, Anderson etc.\nEquipment:\nPistol or PCC\na holster or bag/box\n150+ rounds\n3 mags & mag carriers(using pockets is ok but not recommended)\nPPE(eye and ear protection)\nPlease note\, that local range rules have established that the muzzle can not go above the berm in any situation. All firearms must be either holstered on your person (may be loaded) or unloaded and in a case that completely encloses it. You may only handle firearms in the safety shed by the gate or on a firing line under RO supervision. Please find an RO to supervise you in unloading your holstered firearm or holstering your unloaded and cased firearm before the match begins. Interlkae members – our SOP for matches is different to general member usage.\nDress for the weather\, this is an outdoor range\, and we shoot the match rain or shine.  If you bring along friends or family (they are welcome)\, make sure that they have eye and ear protection. **As a safety note\, we do not permit Serpa and Uncle Mike’s holsters or their clones. We do not permit belly bends**\nThere will be 3+ stages of fire\, and the goal is to get you through the match before 8 pm (or dusk\, whichever is earlier). We will start shooting when the practiscore event says so. You must show up 30 minutes prior to that.  There will be a new shooter briefing 15 minutes before the start\, and a general safety briefing 5 minutes before the start.\nNew Shooters: As mentioned\, 15 minutes before start is the new shooter orientation. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You must be present for the safety brief to take part in the match. We will not run a second orientation.\nThe match fee is $10.\nLooking forward to seeing you there!
