DESCRIPTION:Buckeye Shooting Center’s Plate League\nThis is a dynamic league involving movement and manipulation of firearms.\nThis league runs with one stage each week for 8 weeks total. The event is open for shooting each week Thursday and Friday from 11:00am to 8:00pm (If you check-in at or before 8:00pm you will get to shoot that day).\nThe price is $20 PER STAGE\, or $120 for the entire 8 weeks. There are discounts for range members ($10/stage or $80/pass). All payments will be processed in store or through our website at https://buckeyeshootingcenter.com/practical-pistol/\nHolsters and mag carriers are required only for Carry Optics. In other divisions they are not required\, but STRONGLY recommended.\nEach week will include two runs for time. Penalties will incur an addition of time to that run. There will be between 10 and 15 plates each week. All shooters will begin with 10 rounds loaded in the first mag.\nThis league will accommodate all levels of shooters including those with physical limitations.

DESCRIPTION:IDPA is the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated “real world” self-defense scenarios using firearms that are suitable for self-defense use.  ** See note at bottom**\nOur matches usually consist of 4 stages – from very basic to quite difficult. Usually a mixture of scenario and standards.\nClub level matches officially start at 4 PM. You do not have to be present at the start of the match. You will shoot in the order that you check in once you’ve arrived at the range.\nDue to safety concerns on our indoor range\, no jacketed hollow-point\, steel core\, or Wolf brand ammunition allowed.\nMatch fees are due at signup\, $15 for non-members & $10 for NCRR members.  For members to receive the discount\, they must also be a NCRR member on Practiscore.  To become a NCRR member on Practiscore\, after applying for club membership on Practiscore\, you must confirm your NCRR membership by sending an email to idpa@ncrr.net (from the email account they use to log onto Practiscore) with your NCRR member number.  This must be done prior to registering for the match in order for me to add you for the Practiscore discount to take place.\nRefunds for withdrawals will be processed minus the credit card processing fee. DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO LONG GONG Pistol match @ Izaak Walton Clear Spring!!\nTHE GAME- This is a 88 feet shooting challenge using any pistol chambered in .22 LR only. The object is to\nShoot the highest score possible.\nAny 22lr pistol can be used and can be shot 2 handed and using a sandbag only.\nThere are 2 classes\nClass 1 red dot or scope any 22lr pistol\nClass 2 iron sights any 22lr pistol\nNo AR styles pistol allow\nTHE TARGET- The targets are AR400 1/8″ thick rimfire gongs\, an 8”\, a 6”\, and a 4” gong. Each gong has a value\, 1 point for the 8”\, 2 points for the 6”\, and 3 points for the 4” gong.\nTHE SETUP- From a bench rest (sand bags\, no sleds) each shooter\, with 10 rounds of ammunition begins by shooting for the 8” gong. The shooter has a 3-minute time limit to complete their round\, the clock starts with their first shot.\nTHE ORDER- If the shooter hits the 8”\, they score 1 point and now can choose to advance to the 6” gong or continue shooting for the 8” gong. If the shooter advances to the 6” gong and connects\, that hit is worth 2 points\, and they now can choose to shoot for the 4” gong.\nTHE RULES- The shooter must tell the scorekeeper when they switch gongs. A hit only counts if it’s a solid gong hit\, chain or hanger hits do not count. If the shooter misses\, they must go back one gong. If the shooter shoots the wrong gong\, it counts as a zero and the shooter must resume shooting on the correct gong.\nTHE SCORE- The score is totaled after each shooter\, with a possible high score of 27 points (1+2+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3=27). A complete game has every shooter fire 5 complete sets for a total of 50 rounds of ammunition (1 full box). The highest possible score for a competition is 135 points. In case of a tie score\, the winner is determined by the shooter with the highest single round score.\nTHE COMPETITORS- The order of the shooters in the first set is determined by drawing numbered chips\, and in each successive set the order of the shooters is determined by the scores\, with the lowest score shooting first. If two or more shooters have identical scores\, whoever shot the score initially will shoot first in the following round. (If Tom shoots an 11\, and then Dave also shoots an 11\, Tom will go before Dave in the following round.)\nTHE CHALLENGE- Hitting gongs at 88 feet with a .22 LR pistol is challenging. Hitting them repeatedly under changing conditions requires all the fundamentals used by the best long-distance shooters in the world. DESCRIPTION:6 stages of Action Steel\nJune is Last Month for Fall\, Winter\, Spring Schedule —  NEXT MONTH — JULY — 5 action steel stages for July\, August and September.\nPMRPC members: $15\nNon-members: $20\nActive Duty LEO/Military:  $10\nJunior (Under 18): Free\nCost of match is $20\, with discounts provided for Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club (PMRPC) Members\, Active-Duty Police/Military\, and Juniors under 18. All must show ID at sign-in.  Payment of the match fee is required at registration.  Reminder:  You can only take one discount.\nREFUNDS: Refunds will be provided less $5 credit card processing fee. No refunds if you cancel less than 24 hours before match start time.  No match day registration.\nCircular plates require 1 hit for score\, rectangular and square plates 2 hits.  Last shot bonus (yellow) plate hit is 3 seconds from your time for round plate\, 6 seconds for 2-shot rectangle plates. Missed plates incur a 3 second penalty.  Your score is your time for the stage.  Shot count for most stages is 30 or less.  The bonus is something that can reward good shooters without penalizing any shooters.  Verify your score after you shoot\, grossly inaccurate scores will result in a DNF for that stage.\nWe also want to remind shooters that we only allow ONE GUN per shooter.\nAlso a reminder that all center fire pistol shooters much have a holster and begin the stage with the pistol in the holstered position. For rim fire\, we do not require a holster since most action matches do not allow rim fire participation — we do for action steel so we will use the rim fire rules for Steel Challenge.\nPMRPC range rules require that muzzles of long guns be carried muzzle down (NOT UP!) and must be flagged or encased whenever carrying the gun.\nWaitlist ok — Waitlisted shooters will be notified prior to match if they are approved to shoot.\nNo check in required.  Shooter information is available at staff table in bay 6.  Shooters can go directly to their first stage.\nMandatory shooter’s briefing at 8:30\nMatch starts immediately after briefing.\nDo a roll call of your squad prior to your first shot.\nTablets and Timers stay on stage.\nKeep in mind that Port Malabar does not allow draw from appendix holster position due to club insurance.\nThe Sig Sauer P320 — including all derivative models based on the P320 platform — is not permitted on PMRPC property. This temporary suspension will remain in place until the underlying concerns have been fully addressed and resolved to our satisfaction.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we uphold the safety standards that define our club.\nRemember–the speed limit at PMRPC is 10 MPH–please DO NOT SPEED!\nIf you can’t make the match\, please use PractiScore to withdraw 24 hours prior to match day to receive a partial refund.\nBe sure to arrive by 8:30.
