Just like previous years\, you’ll sign the workers sheet at the Pistol shed\, and the more you help out\, the greater chance you have of winning.\nWe start set up at 4pm\, and shoot at 6pm.\nAs always\, beers at the clubhouse afterwards\nPCC Gun Handling\n• PCC can be transported from bay to bay in a case\, or carts and flagged. If in a cart the muzzle is reasonably vertical (pointing down)\, and a chamber flag is in place. A flagged carbine is treated the same as a holstered pistol\, except for sweeping rules.\n• Uncasing the carbine may be done in a safe area\, or against a side berm or backstop.\n• When a competitor is called to the line to shoot\, they may carry an empty\, with chamber flag\, PCC muzzle up or muzzle down\, or the PCC may be cased.\n• After “Hammer down and Flag”\, with an empty with chamber flag PCC\, the competitor can immediately re-case the PCC or carry the PCC as stated above. The PCC can then be carried to a side berm staging area well behind the firing line and placed back in a case or on a cart.

DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bowling Pin Competition Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete in shooting 5 bowling pins off a tabletop from their respective sides\, using revolvers with 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5\, up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter’s Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional division. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. If all pins are knocked down in a tie\, 2 pins will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. If they tie again\, an additional pin will be set up for the next tie-breaker round.

DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Steel Challenge at Mill Creek Rifle Club\, De Soto\, KS.  4 stages in the evening. Right now I am limiting registration to 1 gun\, depending on how squads fill up I will send out an email if adding a second gun is possible .  $10 match fee for adults.  $5 each for a second gun if room allows.  Pre-teens and Juniors 13-17 $5 match fee for first gun.  Payment for now will be accepted at the range beginning at 5:00pm on match day .  New competitor orientation at 5:30pm.  Shooters meetings at 5:45pm.  Match begins at 6:00pm.  We will try to keep squads together but it may be necessary to move shooters to make sure there are RO’s available on each squad.
