SUMMARY:.22 Silhouette Match
DESCRIPTION:DETAILS  \n\nSilhouette Event- 2nd Saturday  from 9 – noon on the MPR for rimfire silhouette.   \nMembers of all 5 clubs are welcome.    \nDiablo  requested a portion of the MPR (  8  positions).   We  operate concurrently with the usual USI public shoot for 2 hrs from 10 to 12.     Both the public and the match break and check targets at the direction of the CRSO. \nFees are $7 for members and $13 for invited guests.  $3 go to USI for each shooter. Fees are collected at the MPR\, not at the USI Clubhouse .\nUSI waiver and a Blue Card issued from the USI clubhouse required prior to the match- there is no charge to these one time processes.\nI call the Silhouettes in the traditional Spanish\, avoiding confusion with the public shooters.\n\nSilhouette shooters are called to the bench\, guns pointed downrange\, flags inserted.  After approaching the bench\, firearms can not be touched until prompted for the live fire.\n\nUpon command\, shooters fire for 2 min.  After 2 banks of animals\, they return the guns to the rack\, flags inserted.\n\nThere is no gun handling except for the actual 10 shots per relay.   \n\n\nThis is a reoccurring event every month- we intend to host this match barring weather or extraordinary barriers preventing the event from occurring in a safe environment. Heavy fog\, severe weather or other acts of nature could force a postponement.

SUMMARY:ILPRSC - July Match - Match 4
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 ILPRS Season.\nILPRSC Matches are fast-paced long-range shooting competitions that will test your rifle marksmanship skills as you manage various barricades and obstacles to engage targets from 200 – 600 yards under a time constraint. Matches will consist of 8-10 stages where you will engage steel targets from different positions and various barricades. Target sizes are designed to be challenging. Target distances are usually known so shooters should have a good DOPE out to 600 yards.\nThis year ILPRS matches will not count for Precision Rifle Regional Series Points.\nMatches start at 9:00 am with a mandatory safety brief at 8:30 am. Registration opens at 8:00 am. Matches typically take 4-5 hours to complete. Gates open at 6am.\nILPRSC will follow the MODIFIED PRS 2025 rule book for scoring\, match points\, and safety. A copy of the modified rules can be obtained by emailing your MD (Jonathan Trice JonathanTrice@gmail.com)\, on the Facebook ILPRS Page\, or at any ILPRSC Club Match.\nThis year there will only be two divisions of shooters. Bolt Gun OPEN and Gas Gun OPEN. Bolt Gun and Gas Gun will shoot separate courses of fire. Courses of fire will be separated by target shape. Bolt Gun Shooters will engage shapes (squares & Circles) and animal targets while Gas Gun shooters will primarily engage IPSC targets and animal shapes. Ideally Bolt Gun shooters and Gas Gun Shooters will be squadded together. In the event that there are not enough gas gun shooters to justify a stand-alone squad Bolt gun shooters will be added to their squad to maintain match flow.\nMagnum calibers are not allowed. Please adhere to a 3200-fps maximum muzzle velocity for all rounds fired. Typical calibers are .308\, 6.5 Creedmoor\, .260 Remington\, 6mm\, 25mm\, and .223 Remington. A note of advice: larger caliber and smaller caliber heavier bullets are easier to spot and confirm impacts and misses. RO/Spotters cannot always guarantee visual confirmation of small caliber light weight bullet impact or miss. Match MD will do their best to utilize flashers and other hit indicating devices to help shooters and RO/Spotters identify Impacts and misses.\nBring a MINIMUM of 100 rounds to the match. While the course of fire is less than 100 rounds\, bring extra to account for any necessary reshoots.\nShooters should bring a scoped rifle\, ammo\, and good DOPE. Shooters can also use support bags and slings\, but these are not required. Tripods will be allowed on specific stages. Certain stages may limit the use of support bags\, tripods\, and props.\nASC MEMBERS TAKE NOTE:\nIf you are a current ASC Member\, you are entitled to a discounted pricing within Practiscore. Requesting membership through practiscore will get you access to those discounts.\nRequest Membership at: https://practiscore.com/clubs/aurora_sportsman_club/membership/join\nNOT AN ASC MEMBER?\nIf you are NOT an ASC member\, you DO NOT need to request membership to ASC as we allow non members to attend events that are posted in Practiscore. SUMMARY:Pioneer Sportsmen Steel Challenge 7-11-2026
DESCRIPTION:Our mission is to provide a venue for Steel Challenge (SCSA) shooting and matches and to promote safe\, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition. Pioneer’s outdoor shooting bays are well suited for steel challenge stages and we have first-class equipment that allow us to offer up to eight standard Steel Challenge stages at every match. We’re known for our capable\, experienced and friendly staff.\nSteel challenge is a unique shooting discipline in many ways. The simple and consistent layout combined with a mostly stationary shooter and multiple strings is well suited to shooters of all ages and levels. In addition\, the many divisions offered means that virtually any style gun may be used for competition as long as they are rim fire or pistol caliber. Each division is scored separately so shooters can directly compare themselves with their peers. Although the stages are rather simple\, the goal is to shoot each stage as quickly as possible and even the quickest and most experienced shooters continue to strive to overcome their limitations and improve their performance.\nMatches are typically held the first Saturday of every month April through November.\nNote: Match and Range specific rule (violation subject to match DQ):\n– Cold range; empty magazine well and no rounds in chamber.\n– Please observe PSI range rule of muzzle direction kept below top of berms\, even when reloading.\n– Match policies and procedures:\nPre-registration and early registration only.\nPre-registration and scores at Practiscore.com\nAssigned squads\n– Only one gun/run allowed on match day; those helping with set-up can shoot a second gun then. Please register with each gun on Practiscore.com\n– Match fees (all guns/runs): $25 for registered Pioneer members\, $30 for non-members and juniors (under 18 on first day of match) shoot free. Fees will be waived for a limited number of staff slots.\n-Check-in between 7:45 and 8:45 at tent beside clubhouse\n– Safety briefing at 8:45 AM at first stage and match begins at 9:00 AM\n– Six to seven stages this match\n– Scores will be uploaded to USPSA and count toward shooter classification (if SCSA/USPSA member)\nPioneer Sportsmen has a policy that shooters on their bays must keep their muzzles below the berms at all times while shooting including when reloading (revolvers excluded when reloading). This applies to all shooting on the range including during sanctioned matches. Members\, including those who are match officials\, are required to warn shooters of infractions and have the authority to ban shooters from the range after three infractions. This could result in a flight DNF and inability to continue shooting later in the match. USPSA/SCSA supports Pioneer’s right to enforce this policy. Please respect our policy and avoid infractions.\nBy attending or participating in any event at Pioneer Sportsmen\, Inc.\, I acknowledge and agree to the following regarding media release and consent:\n1.	CONSENT TO MEDIA CAPTURE\nI understand that photography\, video\, and audio recording may occur at events held on club property or under the club’s direction. I give full permission to be recorded\, photographed\, or otherwise captured while participating\, spectating\, or being present at any such event.\n2.	GRANT OF RIGHTS\nI grant Pioneer Sportsmen\, Inc.\, its representatives\, volunteers\, match officials\, affiliated clubs\, event organizers\, and event sponsors the unrestricted right to use\, reproduce\, and publish my image\, likeness\, or voice for lawful purposes related to the club or its events. This includes the right to share such media with sponsors and partners for related promotional use.\n3.	NO COMPENSATION OR RIGHT OF REVIEW\nI understand that:\n– I will not receive any payment or compensation for the use of my likeness\n – I waive any right to inspect\, approve\, or control the use of any media in which I may appear.\n– I release all parties listed above from any claims arising out of the use of such media\n4.	BINDING AGREEMENT\nThis release is binding upon me and my heirs\, executors\, and legal representatives. If the participant is a minor\, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on their behalf.\nBrian Kruszewski from Off Trigger Firearms has generously donated a Ruger 10/22 with Simons Pro Rimfire scope to be randomly drawn from all registered shooters before the match.\nIf you have questions\, please email Matthew.poulin@comcast.net

SUMMARY:CCGCI 2 Gun Match July 11\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Central Carolina 2 Gun Match is a fun match with rifle and pistol\, generally around 125-130 rounds of ammunition minimum with a leaning generally for more rifle rounds than pistol.\nHours are now SUMMER.\nCheck in/Registration and payment at 8 am\nMandatory Safety Briefing at 8:45 am\nShooting Starts at 9 am.\nWe have very basic equipment requirements and are a great match for new shooters to start at. The match consists of 4 stages with descriptions to follow for each stage\, scoring is time plus and most stages allow you to make up shots to get the best possible score.\nWe are very accepting of various types of equipment\, perfect for testing out that new trunk gun or home defense gun that might not fit into matches elsewhere.\nIF YOU WANT TO SHOOT WITH SOMEONE ELSE SPECIFICALLY:\nMake sure to contact them and organize who will register FIRST and get a GROUP CODE for everyone else to use. Because we try to have 4 squads at each match with 45+ shooters\, this often requires us to move shooters around the night before the match. If we don’t know you want to shoot with anyone in particular you CAN and possibly may get moved to help us keep squad sizes even. Trying to sort this out the morning of the match delays the start of our shooting\, so please make sure to take care of this UP FRONT when you register and squad so we can see.\nFinal ammunition numbers are posted approximately a week before at this address along with further information and some images from our match.\nhttp://centralcarolinagunclub.wildapricot.org/page-1788404
