SUMMARY:PSGC Tactical Pistol May 2nd 2026
DESCRIPTION:The PSGC Tactical Pistol Match is a non-sanctioned outlaw match consisting of CCW\, IDPA\, and USPA shooting styles. Field courses feature running & gunning\, shooting from cover around barricades\, shooting at moving targets\, and shooting from multiple shooting areas and positions\, at paper and steel targets. Courses are designed for the person who wants to practice with a self-defense handgun. 9mm/.38 cal minimum. Significantly modified guns are not allowed. Firearm\, Holster\, and Mag Pouches should be consistent with EDC. Basically what you carry. 10 Rounds per Magazine Max\, regardless of capacity. Shooting will be from concealment\, so a vest\, jacket\, or shirt etc. for concealment is required. Holster must be OWB or IWB\, no further forward than 2:00 (RH) and 10:00 (LH). NO APPENDIX. No race holsters or thigh holsters allowed. So blow the cobwebs off that Stock Gun that lives in the bedside safe\, or your Concealed Carry gun and bring it out to the range.\nWe welcome newcomers to the sport\, however competing safely in this match requires proper gun handling skills\, knowledge of the safety rules\, and shooting proficiency. You must be competent shooting from concealment. Let your Match Director and RO know if you are a new shooter.

SUMMARY:WEGC Steel Challenge Match May 2 2026
DESCRIPTION:Match Sign-In starts at 7:30am.\nMatch Safety Briefing starts at 8:00.\nMatch starts immediately after Safety Briefing.\nWEGC Steel Challenge is a speed shooting competition that involves shooting arrays of steel targets while timed. There are 8 stages. Each stage has five steel plate targets of various sizes set at different distances. There is a designated “stop plate” which must be shot last in sequence on the stage.\nOn the start signal\, the competitor fires one shot on each of the targets. The competitor must hit each of the steel plate targets on the stage once during the string. The shooter finishes the string by hitting the designated stop plate. Each string is timed\, so the faster a competitor can hit each of the steel plate targets on the stage\, the better. The only penalty for missing a target is a time penalty (3 seconds). This means you can fire as many make up shots as needed to hit each target without penalty.\nAll but one stage consists of 5 strings of fire – or 5 different attempts at the stage. The times for the fastest four strings are added together for the total time (score) on that stage. The worst (slowest) string is thrown out and not part of the total time. The total time for each of the stages becomes the competitor’s total score for the match.

SUMMARY:Hyatt Presents - May NRA AR Challenge L2 Match
DESCRIPTION:The NRA America’s Rifle Challenge (ARC) Program is a dynamic\, marksmanship-oriented\, firearms competition\, based on the AR-15 and/or other appropriate semi-automatic rifles. The NRA ARC program\, administered by the NRA’s Competitive Shooting Division\, provides for several different levels of sanctioned matches\, Level 1 and Level 2\, as well as an ARC 2Gun event\, which incorporates semi-automatic handguns and is similar to ARC Level 2. The NRA ARC Program also provides a structured NRA ARC Training Course\, which is under development.\nNRA ARC L2 courses of fire are dynamic and generally require movement\, positional shooting\, shooting from props/barricades and test accuracy skills all under time limitations\nSchedule of events:\nMatch sign-in ends at 9:30 am\nMatch safety brief – 9:30 am\nMatch start – 10:00 am\nMatch Fee – $20 for members / $305 for non-members\nWhen you arrive at our range\, head to the Pro Shop and sign in\, and pay for the match. Then head down to the competition bays to be present for the safety briefing.\nAll participants are expected to assist with match teardown\nFour standard capacity magazines are required for your AR; magazine carriers are nice but not required\, you may use your pockets. Bring 120 rounds of ammo for your AR with an average round count between 100-120 rounds for the match. A rifle sling and Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) are also required.\nNRA ARC L2 is a dynamic action sport. Slings\, and other equipment must be of sufficient quality and construction to retain firearm(s) and other items during vigorous movement.\nNRA ARC matches operate as cold range events. Please ensure your weapon is unloaded and no magazine is installed when you arrive. There will be a safe area for handling firearms. No ammo will be allowed in the safe areas. This means that all firearms must remain unloaded\, rifles slung or placed in carts with a chamber flag fully inserted INTO THE CHAMBER of the firearm unless under the direct supervision of an RO or safely handled while in a designated safe area or function fire area. Transport of firearms during a match – when moving any firearm from one location to another (such as stage to stage)\, the firearm will be COMPLETELY unloaded. Handguns will be holstered or bagged\, and rifles will be slung\, fully cased\, or carted with a chamber flag or empty chamber indicator (ECI) properly inserted into the chamber of the firearm.\nFood and beverages will be available for purchase after the match at the After Clays Restaurant and Bar. Please purchase this at the Pro shop.\n***** IMPORTANT: An NRA Competitor ID Number is required to participate in ARC and is used for classification purposes in all NRA-sanctioned tournaments. Competitors shall visit the NRA competitive shooting web portal and register for this six-digit NRA ID number. This is separate from an NRA membership number. NRA membership is NOT required to participate in ARC events\, but is highly encouraged. Use this link for your free NRA competitor ID number: https://competitor.nra.org *****\nFor more information\, please see the NRA ARC Rule book: https://arc.nra.org/media/10359/arc-rulebook.pdf\nIf you have any questions\, please call us (704) 826-6014 or email edeconde@gmail.com
