Setup/registration starts at 9 AM\, new shooter orientation is at 9:30 AM\, please arrive by 9:30 AM\, match starts at 10 AM. The LPC Wildcat matches differ from our USPSA matches in that:\n    o  we will not shoot a Classifier stage\,\n    o  the results will not be reported to USPSA\,\n    o  we will sometimes exceed the maximum number of shots allowed per stage per the USPSA rules\n    o  we may exceed the maximum number of shots allowed per view per the USPSA rules\nOtherwise\, the same safety\, equipment and disqualification rules will all apply. DESCRIPTION:Kayaderosseras Fish and Game Club Action Pistol program is pleased to announce a Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) match.\nGPA match will involve six stages (typically 18-24 rounds each). This is an NRA sanctioned Special Tournament ( Rule 1.6.j ) with Tournament ID Number – 2026187486)\nThe match is open to the public. We welcome new shooters and non-GPA Members. GPA rules are similar but different than IDPA rules – GPA slogan is Half the Rules – Twice the Fun.  GPA offers free first year annual membership. However\, please note that KFGC does NOT allow Appendix draw at this time.\nCompetitors should have completed a Practical Pistol Safety Class or have documentation of having participated in a Level II or higher GPA\, SASS\, IDPA\, USPSA\, or ICORE match. SUMMARY:Richmond New Competitor Class May 9-2026
DESCRIPTION:This is the New Handgun Competitor Class at Richmond Rod & Gun Club. This is not a competition and is REQUIRED to compete on the Richmond Action Range for action matches (USPSA\, PCSL\, IDPA) or Saturday Practice. This course will not teach you how to use a firearm so please be familiar and competent with your pistol and equipment.\nEquipment needed:\n– Handgun\n– 3 magazines minimum\n– 150 rounds of ammo (no steel jacketed ammo allowed)\n– Pistol holster (belt must go through belt loops)\n– Mag holsters\n– Eye & Ear protection\nPrice is $160\, with RRGC members refunded $40 upon completion of the class. Please note that refunds are available up to a week before your scheduled class date – any closer and it will be dependent on our ability to fill your spot.\nSAFETY UPDATE REGARDING SIG P320: The RRGC Board of Directors has implemented an immediate and total ban on the SIG Sauer P320 platform across all club property. This includes all variants such as the M17\, M18\, X5\, AXG\, and any aftermarket configurations (e.g.\, custom FCUs\, third-party frames). As of now\, P320s are completely prohibited anywhere on RRGC grounds – not just on the ranges\, but also in parking areas\, vehicles\, bags\, and all match or event spaces. The policy applies to all disciplines hosted at RRGC\, including: USPSA\, PCSL\, IDPA\, Steel Challenge\, Night Matches\, Multigun\, as well as all practices\, classes\, and private events.\nA reminder email containing instructions where to go and what to bring will be sent a few days prior to your scheduled date.
