If you need to make ready\, check your equipment please do at C Bay (lanes 11-15).\nPlease make sure you fill out an waiver once you enter the building\, and payment is required in order to register and squad.\nThis match will be using PCSL rules and scoring\, with little exceptions to divisions.\nDivisions:\nCompetition (COMP): 2011s/SA/DA pistols. Striker fired guns are welcome too. Other than magazine extensions restrictions (no magazines length past 171.25mm). Other than that no restrictions. Compensators\, porting\, red dots and flash lights are permitted.\nPractical Optics (PO): Striker fired pistols (usually full size) as well as SA/Da pistols. Compensators and porting is not allowed. But magwells\, flashlights\, and lasers are allowed. \nFactory (FACT): Striker fired pistols as well as SA/DA pistols as well. Irons sights ONLY\, no red dot sights.  Magwells are allowed\, but porting/compensators are not. Basically as it comes from the factory\nPistol Caliber Carbine (PCC): Any pistol caliber carbine in\, that has a stabilizing brace or stock to the shoulder.\nRequired Gear\nTo ensure you’re fully prepared for the Galleria Gunslinger Match\, here’s a list of essential gear you’ll need to bring:\n1. Handgun:\nA reliable semi-automatic pistol or revolver that meets PCSL division requirements.\nEnsure it is safe\, functional\, and in compliance with range rules.\n2. Holster:\nA secure\, belt-mounted holster that allows for safe drawing and reholstering.\nShoulder\, pocket holsters are not permitted for safety reasons. Appendix and AIWB holsters are allowed.\n3. Magazines and Mag Pouches:\nAt least three magazines (or speed loaders for revolvers).\nMagazine pouches or carriers to hold your spare magazines during the match.\n4. Ammunition:\nA minimum of 150 rounds of factory or hand-loaded ammunition (ensure they are safe and reliable).\n5. Eye and Ear Protection:\nSafety glasses or shooting-specific eyewear.\nEar protection (earmuffs or earplugs).\n6. Shooters are responsible for being in compliance with equipment requirements mandated by the rules for the division they choose to shoot in. We operate under a COLD RANGE policy\, so no loaded firearms on anyone but the shooter running the course of fire (nothing in the chamber AND NO MAG in the gun). If you find that you have a loaded firearm on you\, or in your shooting bag\, you MUST immediately seek out a Safety Officer and have them supervise the clearing of the firearm. Clearing a loaded firearm without SO supervision is a disqualifying event\, so we don’t want you to go home before the match even starts!\nSetup at 4:30pm\, new shooters meeting 5:30*\, shooters meeting / announcements at 6pm\, rounds down range @ 6:15pm. Please plan to stay about 10 minutes after the match is finished to help tear down the stages.\n(* new shooters that do not attend the new shooter briefing will not be allowed to shoot the match).\nLost Brass Match: AJST are not paid employees of Royal Range USA\, they allow us to collect the brass from the matches as compensation for our work. DESCRIPTION:5 stages of Steel Challenge at Temple Gun Club Range 3924 FM 438 Loop\, Temple\, TX 76501. Sign up / Check in starts at 17:00 until 17:45. Shooting starts at 17:50 until 20:30ish. Match fee is $10 per person\, second gun is $10\, Juniors 17 y/o and younger are free. Please make sure to bring a bag for your firearm or an appropriate belt holster. Safety flags are required for all PCC’s and Rimfire Rifle’s. Slings are not allowed. A par time will be set at 30 sec on the timer. The minimum and maximum calibers are 22LR\, 9mm – 45 auto. No magnum loads\, tracer\, steel core or incendiary rounds are allowed. Please make sure you arrive early for check in. If you have signed up on Practiscore and are unable to attend please withdraw as soon as possible.

SUMMARY:Heartland Steel Challenge League June 18th
DESCRIPTION:Steel Challenge is a speed shooting competition governed by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) that consists of eight standardized stages with steel targets in three sizes; small circular (10”)\, large circular (12”) and rectangular (18×24”) targets. Competitors are scored solely by the time it takes them to complete each stage\, and the match winner is the competitor with the lowest overall time.\nThere will be 3 stages with 5 steel targets on each. Shooters get five runs on each stage. Each competitor shoots each stage five times\, with their slowest run dropped. The counting times are totaled for their stage score\, and the 4 stage scores are added together to establish the competitor’s match score.\nFor each run\, one hit per target is required\, with an unlimited number of rounds. The last target to be shot is known as the “stop plate”\, which stops the timer. Any primary targets that have not been hit after the stop plate has been struck\, will be scored with a 3-second penalty each. The maximum time permitted for a run is 30 seconds and a competitor will be stopped and asked to reload if they reach the 30 second limit.
