DESCRIPTION:Pistol-Training.com’s On-Demand Performance (ODP) is a 2-day class that focuses equally on technical excellence and cold performance\n\n\n\nPistol-Training.com’s flagship course\, On-Demand Performance (ODP) is a 2-day class that focuses equally on technical excellence and cold performance. Cold performance is performance without any kind of warmup and is the only kind of performance that matters for most law enforcement and civilians. ODP offers daily/weekly/monthly training practices to build your cold ability and allow you to perform as well as possible. Students are tested to determine their current ability\, and training is tailored to individual needs. The prerequisites for the class include the ability to draw and re-holster safely and students must pass a pre-test of five shots on a 3×5 card at 5 yards\, with no time limit. The course requires a minimum of 1000 rounds of quality training ammo for your pistol and 4 magazines. Red dots or irons are equally welcome. Holsters may be duty holsters\, IWB or OWB\, strong-side or appendix however\, unconcealed gun/holster combos are highly discouraged. Students also have the opportunity to test for the FAST coin if they wish. \nRequirements: \n\nMentally and physically sound\n\n\n1000 rounds (minimum)\n\n\nConcealed pistol/holster (9mm or larger unless discussed in advance)\n\n\n4 magazines and 1 magazine pouch (minimum)\n\n\nAbility to draw and reholster safely as well as hit a 3×5 card at 5 yards every time\n\n\nWeather-appropriate clothing and comfort/sustainment items\n\n\nCompleted waiver\n\nFAQ: \nQ: If I bring more than 1000 rounds of ammo will I be able to shoot more? \nA: Yes! Some drills allow for more flexibility than others but much of the shooting will be at your own pace. Which also means that some people will shoot a little less than others. \nQ: Why do you prefer to train with concealed guns instead of open carry holsters? \nA: Anyone who is serious about carrying a pistol must be able to shoot effectively from concealment. Training from concealment strongly carries over to open carry\, but the opposite is simply not true. \nQ: If I can’t meet the prerequisites what will happen? \nA: If you are unsafe\, you will be unable to continue training. Safety requirements will be clearly laid out at the beginning of the day and you will have the chance to practice them. If you can’t hit a 3×5 card at 5 yards\, you don’t yet have the skill needed to take advantage of this training. You are welcome to stay and shoot\, but we will not take class time away from the students who do meet the requirements in order to try and get you up to speed. A second attempt to pass the test may be given as appropriate.

DESCRIPTION:Visit- WWW.OEDEFENSE.COM for more information and ticket purchasing.\nLocated at the edge of the Edwards Plateau\, the competition will offer some amazing views as the course takes you over one of the highest points in Bandera County. Look for some unique and challenging shooting stages utilizing this terrain.\nTactical Biathlon is a 2-gun biathlon. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol over a predetermined course of fire ranging in distance.\nCompetitors will encounter several stages to shoot at throughout the course. These stages may be rifle only\, pistol only\, or a combination of the two.\nThis event will include a Series\, Rivals\, and Sniper competition.\nCompetitors have varied amounts of time to complete a stage. If the competitor fails to complete a stage within the time allotted\, they will receive a Did Not Finish (DNF).\nEach stage has a unique layout including varying numbers of targets and distances to the targets. Competitors must be able to adapt to the stage\, target size\, and distance on their own in order to complete the stages. Generally\, pistol targets will range from 15-50 yards\, while rifle targets will range from 75-700 yards.\nThe Sniper competition distances will be out to 1300 yards. Calibers restricted to .223-.308. Nothing over 3200FPS.\nWe will do our best to set up the Series and Sniper courses separately\, to make them unique\, but we may reuse and/or modify stages between the two days.\nCompetitors will be put in unique situations and positions that will require engaging targets they might not be accustomed to. Additionally\, some stages might require movement\, or transitions from one position/weapon to another. Safety is paramount. Competitors and ROs will ensure that shooters are moving with the safety on\, finger off the trigger\, and muzzle down range. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.\nWhile running on the course\, rifles will not be loaded or have a mag inserted. Pistols are allowed to be in condition 1 (or loaded) while holstered. Competitors will be checked at the start/finish along with the entry/exit of every stage. It’s a mission.\nMatch proceeds are used to make a donation to a local charity that supports children in need.\nThe event kicks off with registration and an open range day on Friday\, as well as a chance to shoot a pistol side stage (bring your own pistol and ammo) and you can shoot an NRL Hunter type stage. Friday is optional and the side stages will not count towards the Saturday’s match.\nContact us at info@guardianlongrange.com for 1/2 price junior registration.\nContact Twisted Barrel directly at 501-470-6460 for onsite RV power and water slots that will be available. They have 10 hookups available for the weekend for rent. Feel free to boondock (non power) in the designated areas at the range. There are lots of hotels around the airport area. Please research the area you book your lodging as some locations in the surrounding area are prone to crime.\nShooters must go to www.twistedbarrelprecision.com and esign the hold harmless from on the members guest link on the main page.\nGuardian matches consist of 8-10 precision rifle stages on Saturday as an individual event and 5-6 stages on Sunday as a team event. Sunday teams are determined by the Saturday results. The field is “folded” and the first place shooter from Saturday is paired with the lowest scoring shooter from Saturday. The shooters that performed well on Saturday (typically more experienced shooters) have a great opportunity throughout Sunday to mentor and help those with less experience.\nThe emphasis is on having a relaxed match environment where shooters of all skill levels can enjoy supporting our mission. This is a good environment for newer shooters and an opportunity for experienced shooters to shoot a match that is less intense than other matches they may have on their calendar this year.\nDinner\, individual match awards\, and the donor raffle table draw is held Saturday evening. Our beneficiary will also speak about the work they do supporting children in need during dinner. Our prize table is raffle based.\nSpecific details regarding on-site lodging\, course of fire\, training opportunities\, and other venue nuances will be communicated to registered shooters via email leading up to the event. Any shooter wanting to utilize a loaner rifle must be able to check-in on Friday afternoon.\n–DISTANCES\, TARGETS\, AND STAGE DESIGN\nShooters will have time before shooting a stage to review the targets\, target range\, and stage course of fire. Most stages will require a round count of 8-12 shots.\nCompetitors can expect to engage targets at known distances from 100 to 1200 yards. Target size will vary in difficulty based on the shooter’s position(s)\, distance(s)\, and time allotted. Expect an average size of 2-3 MOA targets. In typical stages\, shooters will have 90-120 seconds to execute the stage. Some venues may have moving targets incorporated into the stage as well. Stages may consist of multiple positions and/or targets. Coaching (and friendly heckling) on the clock is allowed and encouraged (as long as the shooter wants to hear it) and it doesn’t interfere with the ability of the RO(s) and Spotters(s) to manage the stage.\n–RIFLE\, EQUIPMENT\, and AMMO COUNT\nAny rifle capable of holding a repeatable <1MOA zero and the ability to make repeatable adjustments for increased target ranges is allowed. **All rifles must fire cartridges less than .30Cal and under 3200fps. Most stages will allow the use of any equipment that can be safely managed while on the clock. Tripod rear/tripod deployment on the clock may vary from venue to venue\, however the intent of the Guardian weekend isn’t focused on particular rules of equipment usage. The focus is on a weekend of fellowship and awareness of the mission to support children in need.\nBring 150 rifle rounds for the actual match stages to be on the safe side. You will not likely need that much\, but it's never a bad idea to have some extra ammo on hand. Shooting opportunities will also be open on Friday\, so include extra ammunition for that too.\n-ZERO\,DOPE VALIDATION\,TRAINING\nShooter check-in starts Friday at 12:00. There will be ranges open throughout Friday afternoon for zero checks and some opportunity to shoot out to distance.\nEveryone is encouraged to spend Friday afternoon with us. Many matches will have side-stages to shoot on Friday and classes/training given by our supporters from the industry. Experienced shooters are encouraged to help others throughout Friday afternoon as well.\n– SAT MORNING REGISTRATION\nIf shooters cannot make Friday check-in\, most matches can accommodate Saturday morning check-in. Expect Saturday registration to open as early as 6:30am. DESCRIPTION:Registration opens 7AM March 14\, 2026\nHarvard Steel Smashers\, along with Ruger and GT targets\, is hosting a falling steel match on May 15th\, 16th and 17th at Harvard Sportsmen’s Club.\nThere will be 6 stages 30-35 targets per stage\nThere will be 6 flights (You can only shoot 1 gun on each fligh. If you want to shoot multiple guns\, sign up\, pay\, and squad for each gun on separate flights).\nFriday May 15th\n1 PM start (Squads 111-116)\nSaturday May 16th\n9 AM start (Squads 201-206)\n1 PM start (Squads 211-216)\nSunday May 17th\n9 AM start (Squads 301-306)\n1 PM start (Squads 311-316)\n$50 per gun\n$25 per gun for ROs\nWhen registering\, check the box to volunteer to RO. Please be aware of the rules and ask questions if you are not sure.\nBasic Safety:\nWe run cold ranges at all times\, there is no handling of firearms at any time unless you are on the firing line and instructed to do so by a Range Officer or at a designated safe table.\nAll Firearms are to remain unloaded\, free of any ammo or magazines at all times unless you are on the firing line and instructed to load by the Range Officer.\nEye and Ear protection must be worn at all times\, whether shooting or not.\nFirearms may be bagged or holstered\nShooters may load from their belt or the provided table.\nShould a magazine be dropped during shooting\, any magazine that falls to the ground is considered dead and may not be retrieved until the firearm is cleared and deemed safe by the RO\, any magazine that falls on the table may be retrieved and used.\nThere is a 180 degree rule in effect while shooting which is to the back berm and extends to the left\, right\, up and down so watch your muzzle\nStart Position:\nShooters will start with no more than 10 rounds in the gun except in PCC\, Stock Auto Unlimited\, and  Open Unlimited division.\nShooter will be in a low ready position with the muzzle touching the provided table. Finger outside of the trigger guard.\nNo matter what you’re shooting pistol or rifle muzzle must touch the table to start\nHandgun: External safeties shall be engaged until the timer starts.\nPCC: Safety optional.\nShooter shall engage targets once the timer starts and continue until either finished\, par time expires\, ammo is expended or if the RO commands to do so. All targets must fall if a target bounces back up it is up to the RO to call it dead. Once completed\, shooter shall clear the firearm as instructed by RO\, drop magazine\, show clear chamber\, slide forward and drop hammer pointed at back berm. These actions may be but are not limited to: Accidental/ Negligent discharge\, unsafe gun handling\, 180 degree violation\, dropped firearm or unsportsmanlike conduct.\nResetting of Targets:\nOnce the Range Officer has declared the range safe\, all shooters except the finishing shooter and the on deck shooter shall assist in resetting of the steel targets and painting of the targets after the last shooter in the squad\, anyone failing to do their part shall be warned and or asked to leave and DQ’d for unsportsmanlike conduct.\nShooting is optional\, resetting is MANDATORY!!!\nThere will be random draw prizes from our vendors and we will be giving away several firearms.\nEmergency Procedures:\nShould any minor injuries occur\, we have first aid kits and first responders on site.\nShould a Emergency arise\, we call a ceasefire on all ranges and call 911\, when calling 911\, please state that there has been a training accident at Harvard Sportsmen's Club (we don’t need swat showing up if we say there was a gunshot victim)\nOnce the scene is cleared\, we will then proceed with the competition.\nSquadding Policy:\nWe will do our best to keep the squads as-is. SUMMARY:Blue Ridge BRSC Falling Steel May 15-16
DESCRIPTION:The match consists of 5 stages with each stage having 21-30 steel targets that must fall to be counted.\nHandguns are limited to 10 rounds in the magazine unless in the Open Unlimited division while PCC’s have unlimited magazine capacity. There are no par times or ammo limits. Shoot until you knock all targets down or you run out of ammo. Pistol calibers only! This is a centerfire match; rimfires will not reliably knock the steel down. All targets are 8” diameter or larger total square inches and placed 10-20 yards from the shooter’s table. Start position is with safety engaged and muzzle touching the table. No holster draws to start. Reloads can come off the table or off the belt. Guns need to be bagged or holstered until the “Make ready” command is issued by the range safety officer. This is a cold range. Eye and ear protection is required for all competitors and spectators. Unsafe acts will not be tolerated.\nGun divisions include:\nSA-Stock auto: iron sights and no compensators\nOA-Open auto: Any sights\, optics and compensators are allowed\nOU-Open Unlimited: any sights\, optics\, comps allowed.
