SUMMARY:SJSC July Outlaw Steel Challenge Match 2026
DESCRIPTION:This match will be held on the 200 yard range in the back.\nSafety brief will begin around 8:45 am and match will start at 9:00 am.\nYou must be present at the safety brief in order to shoot.\nSteel Challenge :\nThere will be a total of 4 stages\, each stage will consist of 5 targets\, 4 regular and 1 stop plate\, each competitor will shoot each stage 4 times (called strings) back to back. Each string has a max possible time of only 30 seconds. Your score will be your total time plus penalties. Your slowest string is discarded. Simple to learn\, hard to master.\nPlease bring to the line with you a minimum of 4 magazines to help speed along the shooting order. If you do not have enough magazines you may bring someone to the line with you to help load mags while you shoot.\nNo magnum ammunition permitted at all\, no penetrators or solid copper projectiles or bi-metal rounds commonly found on steel cased ammo. We can check with a magnet if you are unsure.\nCheck out https://uspsa.org/viewer/2021-SCSA-Rulebook-March-2021.pdf for the official rules for this competition.

SUMMARY:NRL22 At SRR&PC 2026 July
DESCRIPTION:Range Gate open at 7:45 AM.\nRegistration and zero range will open at 08:00 am\nShooters meeting is at 8:45 am\nMATCH STARTS at 9:00 am\nWhat is NRL.22?\n• A gateway to precision long rifle competitions such as the NRL or PRS. Designed to be extremely fun for beginners and seasoned shooters alike. This is a very youth friendly competition as well!\n• This is a “Match in a can” where each months match we will be competing against competitors all over the country shooting the same COF. There are monthly prize drawings held for NRL.22 members who competed that month. (Membership not required to shoot!)\n• Targets will be steel only\, each stage will have required shooting positions (i.e 2 shots at target A then B from the first rung of a ladder\, repeat for rungs 2 and 3). Speed and accuracy are both important in this competition.\n• What is needed to compete?\n• A .22lr rifle with a detachable magazine\n• A scope that will permit you to engage targets at various distances (My preference is a scope with MIL/MOA hashmarks\, but any scope that gives you the ability to shoot various distances will work)\n• Bipod\n• Other equipment that would be nice would be a shooting bag like a gamechanger\, DOPE card\, binos\, Spotting scope\, ballistic calculator app\, etc. There is NO NEED to go buy a bunch of gear before your first match\, plenty of people will be there to lend out gear.\nThis is a COLD range- There will be zero tolerance for any muzzle flagging at this match. We will have rifle staging areas available to keep rifles in between stages. Chamber flags are required\nPricing- We will shoot the 5 monthly NRL22 stages\, and a bonus stage. Mover stage highly likely!\nMatch fee $30\nYoung Guns (under 18) Shoot Free with paid adult admission!!!\n• When is it and where do I find details? \nOur Range \n\nRegistration and zero range will open at 08:00 am\nShooters meeting is at 8:45 am\nMATCH STARTS at 9:00 am

SUMMARY:EHPSA SCSA July 2026 - CANCELED
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the East Huntingdon Sportsmen’s Association Level 1 Steel Challenge Monthly Match!\n******************************************\nMatch Schedule:\n9 AM Match\nWalk-On Registration: Opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 8:30 AM at the club house.\nMandatory Shooters Meeting: 8:45 AM.\nHammer Down: Match begins promptly at 9 AM.\n******************************************\nFees:\n$20 for the first gun\n$10 for each additional gun\n$5 for all junior shooters per gun\nOur match is a six stage “Speed Six” match – No Outer Limits or Speed Option\nPlanning to shoot in more than one division? Be sure to create a separate entry for each gun.\nWalk-ons are welcome IF open slots are available. However\, Practiscore pre-registration and squad selection is appreciated and preferred.\n******************************************\nWhat to Bring:\nA minimum of 150 rounds per gun/division (We recommend extra to cover misses)\n5 magazines per gun\, especially if using low-capacity mags (e.g.\, 10-round)\nEye and hearing protection for all shooters and spectators.\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nBays 1 through 6\n******************************************\nCOLD RANGE Rule – Safety First!\nAll firearms must remain UNLOADED unless you’re on the firing line under Range Officer supervision.\nKeep firearms secured in a holster\, bag or cart.\nFor rimfire rifles and PCC\, ensure the bolt is closed on a chamber flag.\nSafe Area: Safe tables are located in each bay\, marked in red.\nImportant: If you’re unfamiliar with the COLD RANGE rule\, leave your firearms in your vehicle and check in at registration.\nWe’re here to help!\nIf an individual is thought to be in violation of the COLD RANGE rule\, a match official will escort the individual to a safe area and direct the individual to unload and show clear. If the firearm is found to be loaded\, the individual will be disqualified from the match and asked to leave the range.\nPlease leave your concealed carry gun in your vehicle. If you are a law enforcement officer\, duly authorized to carry a loaded firearm\, we ask that you proceed immediately to the registration table and ask for a match official for the express purpose of safely unloading the firearm to avoid disqualification.\n******************************************\nNew shooters\nPlease arrive no later than registration opening time for the match and let us know at the registration table if you’re a new shooter. It typically takes 150 rounds per gun with no misses to complete 6 stages. All stages consist of 5 strings of fire on 5 targets. If shooting with a low-capacity magazine (example 10 rounds)\, it is important to have at least 5 magazines per gun to help avoid match delays caused by having to reload magazines while in the shooter’s box.\n******************************************\nNew Shooters Checklist:\nArrive when registration opens (8:00 AM).\nBring extra ammo (more than 200 rounds recommended).\nPay special attention to the COLD RANGE rules.\nFamiliarize yourself with Steel Challenge rules: https://scsa.org/rules\nConsider joining USPSA: https://uspsa.org/join\n******************************************\nCopy and Paste the links below into your browser:\nSteel Challenge rules: https://scsa.org/rules\nUSPSA membership: https://uspsa.org/join\nStage Layout: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cDUwFrz1aQjxaFRm8\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nEast Huntingdon Sportsmen’s Club\n286 Sportsman Rd\nAlverton PA 15612\nIf you have any questions or concerns\, please email us at: ralloway@gmail.com\nWe look forward to seeing you on the range!\nPlease feel free to contact us with any questions.\nThank you!
