SUMMARY:BRSP Steel Challenge Match - May 2
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 stage Steel Challenge match for members and non-members. This beginner-friendly speed steel shoot can be shot with .22LR pistols\, .22LR rifles\, PCCs (pistol-caliber carbines) and non-magnum\, straight wall cartridge centerfire pistols (e.g. 9mm\, .38SPL\, 10mm\, .40S&W\, .45ACP). This match requires 100 hits – we recommend shooters bring 150-200 rounds of ammunition and at least 3 double-stack or 5 single-stack magazines. Please arrive with magazines loaded and guns unloaded.\nWe shoot a split schedule. You can shoot the morning or the afternoon – or both! Morning setup will be around 8:30 with first shots immediately after setup. The afternoon start will be at 12:30. Maximum two divisions per shooter please. Pay here on Practiscore.\nWe run a cold range for the match. If you arrive carrying a loaded firearm\, please unload and clear BEFORE entering the competition bay. Use the designated safety table on the range to unbag and holster your already-unloaded firearm. Long guns must be cased\, or flagged and carried with muzzle pointing up. All other firearm handling on the range must be at the safety table\, except when shooting the stage.\nPlease note: we do not automatically paint targets between shooters. If you want steel painted before you shoot\, paint is available. Please notify the RO at the beginning of the match and coordinate painting with your squad mates ahead of time to help keep the match running efficiently. In accordance with rule 4.1\, should plates not be painted prior to each competitor’s first run the competitor forfeits their right to appeal any missed hit calls.\nWithdrawal requests submitted by the Thursday before the match will receive a refund\, minus credit card processing fees.\nFor more information on Steel Challenge\, go to the SCSA website https://scsa.org/ or watch this video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR1uH1Ro4ZA

SUMMARY:Oregon TCGC IDPA Match - May 2 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Tri-County Gun Club home of the Tri-County Defensive Shooting League (TCDSL)\nWe’re excited to have you join us at TCGC for our IDPA Match.\nPlease respect all range rules at all times.\nTCGC High Muzzle Rule – No muzzles of loaded firearms above the berm. (Loaded is defined as a round in the chamber or rounds in magazine once seated.\nWe recognize that the high-muzzle rule at TCGC can be challenging\, particularly for shooters who train for real-world or duty use. IDPA at TCGC has a policy that states: A competitor who receives a disqualification (DQ) at a match is limited to one firearm division entry at their next IDPA match. As a result of the high-muzzle DQ\, a competitor is limited to a single entry for the upcoming IDPA match. This policy is not a reflection of a competitor’s overall firearm skill or experience. Its purpose is to help competitors focus on a single platform and reduce the likelihood of repeat safety violations\, which we’ve seen occur more frequently when shooters enter multiple divisions.\n***NEW***\nIDPA HQ in the 2026 Rule Book has codified the decision to disallow the Sig Sauer P320 platform including military and X5 model from all IDPA events. I know this is unfortunate for those who have adopted the 320 platform. This does not affect other organized events at TCGC\, however it is advisable to check with other MD.\n⚠️ Special Notes for PCC Shooters\nChamber flags are required and must be used throughout the match.\nNew to IDPA at TCGC?\nWe’re glad you’re here! Please\, email us at idpa@tcgc.org to be approved.\nJoin our Signal chat for notifications\, updates\, and answers to questions in a timely manner.\nNew shooters may compete in only one division per match.\nMatch Details\nThis is a Tier 1 IDPA match\nWe’ll be shooting 6 stages\nThe 2026 IDPA Rulebook is in effect\nEntry Fees\n$20 for one division\n$25 if competing in two divisions\nDivisions Offered\nSSP (15 rounds)\nESP (10 rounds)\nCO (10 rounds)\nCCP (10 rounds)\nCDP (8 rounds)\nBUG (8 rounds)\nREV (6 rounds)\nPCC (up to 30 rounds max)\nNFC (No Score)\nMatch Schedule\n0715 – SO Briefing\n0745 – Setup Begins\n0800 – New Shooter Check-In at the Stat Shack (ID required)\n0815 – New Shooter Briefing at Bay 1\n0900 – Registration & Payment\n0930 – Registration Closes\n1000 – Match Begins!\nBays 1–6\, Action Pistol Range\nMatch Staff\nMatch Director: Shaun Hescock\nAssistant Match Director: John “The LAW” Marshall\nProp Master: Kent Adams\nRegistration: Kent Rutherford\nThank you for joining us — we’re looking forward to a safe\, fun\, and challenging day on the range.\nSee you there!\n-The TCDSL Team-\nDISCLAIMER:\nTri-County Gun Club maintains a zero-tolerance policy for individuals or organizations that advocate for\, support\, or promote the violent or unlawful overthrow of the United States government.\nAny person known to be affiliated with or actively supporting such groups is prohibited from entering TCGC (A membership and qualified guest of member facility) premises and is not permitted to participate in any TCGC-sanctioned activities or events.\nThis policy applies regardless of an individual’s background\, profession\, or personal beliefs and is enforced solely in the interest of safety\, legality\, and the continued operation of the club.

So make sure your gear is strapped on tight and ready to go!\nDISQUALIFICATIONS\nThese are Match DQ’s not Stage DQ’s which means if you are disqualified then you are finished shooting for the day\nThe Match Director will review all DQ’s\, Match Director decisions are final\, there are no appeals and there are no refunds\nUnintentional\, Negligent or Accidental discharge of your firearm at any time during the event is a DQ\nHaving a loaded gun at any time during the event is a DQ\, unless you are the shooter executing a course of fire\nGun handling at any time during the event is a DQ\, unless you are the shooter executing a course of fire or working at a safe table\nDropping a gun during your course of fire is a DQ. If you drop a gun outside your course of fire then get a Range Officer to assist with recovery\nBreaking the 180 degree barrier\, Muzzling any part of yourself\, Muzzling anyone else during your course of fire is a DQ\nFinger on the trigger while Reloading\, Clearing a malfunction\, or while Moving and not actively shooting at targets during your course of fire is a DQ\nDisagreeing with a Range Officer is allowed but being disrespectful is not\, so know the difference because Unsportsmanlike Conduct is a DQ

SUMMARY:High Power Silhouette
DESCRIPTION:Contact Roger Estes @ rce497@comcast.net \nThis is a High Power Silhouette match per month from March thru November\, 2026\, These will be high power rifle silhouette matches fired on the Lea Valley Range with a total of 40 rounds for record. Records will be kept and sent to the NRA for classification purposes. For the matches practice will begin at 9a.m. and matches will begin at 10.Rules will follow the NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette Rules. Briefly\, rifles for Highpower silhouette have to be at least a minimum center-fire caliber of 6mm\, no maximum. Ammo cannot be belted magnum by Club Rules for ammo.Clothes can be commensurate with the weather but cannot be made specifically silhouette competition\, with the exception that leather vest specifically for rifle silhouette can be used. The match firing will be on relays\, each relay\, consisting of 4 shooting competitors and spotters . Spotters are not mandatory for these matches. Scoring can be done by a spotter or by the competitor's person. The relay is called to the line\, the command of ready is given which is 15 seconds to get prepared to fire the 5 shots in 2 1/2 minutes\, then a short rest\, then 5 more rounds in 2 1/2 minutes. Following these shots\, competitors will show their scores to the stat officer so the scores are recorded. Relays will continue till all animals are fired at. Scores are counted by the knock down of animals off the range rail\, to a maximum of 40 animals. Once the relays are complete\, scores will be counted up and the winner gets cash for the award\, total of 25 for aggregate match winner. $20 for Class winner. Each 3 competitors will get a n award of cash. A plaque award can be substituted for the cash. There is a separate category in which AR-15 rifles are allowed. AR's don't follow the silhouette rules\, mostly because of the shape of the rifle and caliber which is .223. They are allowed in a separate category in this match to get more competitors to shoot these matches\, just generating interest in this sport. They have no classification in the match\, just for fun. The matches are fired on the first Sunday of the month.
