DESCRIPTION:Falls has been hosting a Smallbore (.22LR) Prone match since 2012. Some match detail:\n* Match is shot at 50\, 100\, and 200 yards. Targets are A-23\, A-25 & A-21 respectively\n* There are 20 shots fired for each distance\, loaded singly\, for 60 shots total for the match. Unlimited sighters.\n* Time limit is 20 minutes for each distance fired.\n* There are three classes: Prone open sights\, Prone scoped\, and Bench-any sights. Sights must be able to adjust to 200 yards.\n* Cost is $8.00\n* Held on the fourth Saturday of each month April through October\, weather and range conditions permitting.\n* Attendees need to arrive by 8:30am for the safety brief and prep. Course of fire (COF) will consist of 7-8 stages designed to test your shooting abilities in a practical application manner. Targets will range from 5 – 700 yards utilizing both pistol and rifle. USPSA/SCSA membership is required. This is a lost brass match. SUMMARY:VCDL Benefit Reactive Steel Match
DESCRIPTION:This is a special Reactive Steel match\, open to the general public\, in which all proceeds will be donated to VCDL for use in the ongoing campaign to defend our rights.\nThe match fee is $25\, payable in cash or check (made out to “VCDL”) on the day of the match.  Exact change is greatly appreciated.  Additional donations by cash or check are most welcome.  Every penny collected for this match goes to VCDL.\nThe match comprises four stages and features approximately 120 reactive steel targets that must be knocked over\, down\, or off.  Instant gratification is our motto.\nThe match is held on the lower ranges.  Shooters check in at the Pistol Range Firing Line starting at 8:30 AM.  Shooters briefing is at 9:30 AM\, and shooting starts immediately after the briefing ends.\nEar and eye protection is mandatory for all\, including spectators.\nThis match is run as a Cold Range\, meaning no one has a loaded gun until they are at a shooting position and commanded to load by their safety officer.\nIDPA/USPSA safety rules and commands govern this match.  A 180 rule will be in effect on all stages unless otherwise specified in the stage briefing.  Watch your muzzle\, and keep your finger off the trigger while moving or reloading.\nCompetition divisions for this event are:\nCFPI – Center-Fire Pistols with iron(open) sights\nCFPO – Center-Fire Pistols with optics\nPCC – Center-Fire Pistol Caliber Carbines or braced pistols\nThere is no limit on magazine capacity or the number of magazines you may carry.  Bring out your soon-to-be-grandfathered gear!\nStrong-side belt holsters only.  No shoulder holsters\, cross-draw or back-side holsters.\nAmmo must be common pistol cartridges\, no magnums please. No steel core ammo allowed.  Bring plenty of ammo!\nScoring is elapsed time plus 5 seconds for any target not knocked over or down.  Lowest score wins.\nNormal starting position is with a holstered pistol or PCC at the low ready\, with all safeties engaged.  Pistol shooters without a holster or uncomfortable drawing from a holster may start from the low ready position but receive a 3 second penalty.\nPistol shooters without holsters and PCC shooters must keep their firearms cased until it is their turn to shoot.
