SUMMARY:LSC IDPA Match 5-2-26
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:\nThe International Defensive Pistol Association\, Inc. (IDPA)\, in response to numerous reports and videos\, is immediately prohibiting the use of the SIG Sauer P320 in all of it’s variants from any competition or event under the name of IDPA. All other SIG Sauer models may be used in the division appropriate for their configuration.\nThe goal of IDPA is safety first for our members\, competitors\, staff and spectators and all others associated with any IDPA event. While we have no direct knowledge of the potential technical defect of the weapon system\, the volume of ranges\, organizations and military units declaring a problem has made it too visible to deny. We will re-evaluate this decision in the future if new credible information emerges.\n“IDPA is committed to maintaining a fair\, competitive\, and inclusive environment for all shooters\,” said IDPA President Joyce Wilson. “Banning a particular firearm is the last thing we ever want to do as an organization\, but the safety of our members and potential spectators has to come first.”\nMATCH INFORMATION\nSet up 8:00am – 9:30am (help appreciated)\nRegistration 8:30am – 9:30am\nShooter Meeting 9:45am\nMatch Begins 10:00am\nCost – $25 (Linden Members $15)\nRefunds for withdraw available until end of day on 4-30-26.\nWe will withhold a $2 fee to cover costs we are charged for the transaction.\nNo refunds for no shows.\nNo future match credits.\nAppendix Carry is now allowed at Linden Sportsmen Club.\nAny muzzle pointed over any berm at any time is a match DQ\, except for revolvers with the cylinder out. Any gun dropped at any time on LSC property is a match DQ.\nIf you would like to SO\, please contact me for the SO link.\nSO Match Price is $10.\nIf you come out to help with setup on Friday\, you will receive a $5 refund to the card used for registration.\nIf you have any questions\, please feel free to contact me.\nShawna Snow\nsms811@comcast.net

SUMMARY:2026-05-02 USPSA at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:This will be a 5 USPSA stage match with a round count of between 150 and 160.\nIf you want to shoot both matches (Friday night and Saturday morning) then you will have to register in two different divisions per USPSA rule 6.2.4 and 6.2.4.1. Failure to do so may result in zero score for the second match.\n$25 with a $5 discount for verified PRGC members.\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for C Classification or above.\nThe Practical Division is always happy to have new shooters at our USPSA matches but it is important that you be familiar with the rules and procedures before you shoot your first match.\nWe will cover specific rules and answer questions at the new shooter’s briefing before the match but the following general rules will keep you in compliance when you first arrive:\nA. Bring your unloaded gun to the match in a case or bag.\nB. Handle your gun only at one of these two approved times:\n1.	When in the marked safety areas. These areas are where you transfer the gun from your bag or case to your holster at the start of the match\, and where you return it to your bag or case when you are finished with the match.\n2.	When explicitly authorized by the RO when it is your turn to shoot a stage. You are allowed to handle your gun beginning with the “Make Ready “ command and ending with the “Range Is Clear” command.\nC. Do not bring ammunition into the safety areas.\nD. Guns are to be unloaded with no magazines in them at all times except for when you are the shooter and have been given the “Make Ready “ command. After the “Range Is Clear” command you are again subject to the unloaded gun requirement.

SUMMARY:SAPS USPSA 5-02-26
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to all those who helped with setting up stages and tearing them down after our last match.\nThis is a purely volunteer sport\, no one is paid to set up or design stages\, or to put away walls\, targets etc. Everyone pays the same amount of money for match fees\, including the match director. That is why we are able to only charge $10.00 per person to shoot S.A.P.S. matches and still cover expenses.\nIf you enjoy shooting our matches we would like to avoid burning out our helpers so please lend a hand. We understand that not everyone is able to lift walls or move steel but helping with stapling paper targets and tearing them down when we finish would be a great help.\nThat will allow us to get set up earlier\, we can begin shooting sooner and we can get off the range quicker.\nBefore heading to the bays\, you need to check-in at the office. $5 fee for members and $10 fee for non-members.
