SUMMARY:OSA One-and-Done LR Rifle - 07 June 2026
DESCRIPTION:This event is ideal for those who want to challenge their long-range rifle shooting skills.\nThe OSA One-and-Done LR Rifle is open to qualified OSA members\, OSA affiliate members and guests. To participate\, you’ll need to be qualified and experienced in shooting the rifle you plan to bring (with proven ammo) to at least 600 meters. For example\, you may have taken the MilCun Enhanced or Advanced rifle courses\, or you may be an active competitor in M-Class. (If you are neither of these\, you may petition for equivalency by emailing lindamilcun@gmail.com.)\nA 100-meter target will be provided for zero confirmation. Then you’ll move out to longer ranges. You’ll shoot one shot at a designated target… if you hit\, you get one point and if you miss you get 0 points. Either way\, you move on to the next designated target. In some cases\, you’ll have a choice of targets for your one shot… the hardest of these targets will score bonus points. There’ll be ten targets. The second stage will be the same ten targets\, but fired in random order\, chosen by a draw.\nYou’ll need your long-range M-Class style rifle and about 50 rounds of ammo (assuming we have time to shoot the course of fire twice). You’ll need your usual range/competition equipment. You’ll need ear and eye protection. You’ll need a long-sleeved shirt\, slacks\, closed-toe shoes\, and a ballcap or brimmed hat. Also\, make sure you bring adequate food and fluid for the day\, as well as insect repellent and sunscreen.\nCheck in at the 1000 range at 0830. You may be required to show your club membership card.\nPrice is $50.00\, with discounts for OSA member and OSA affiliate members. If you’re under 18\, register as a junior.\nIf you haven’t been to an OSA event before\, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions. You must have shooter’s liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e.\, you must be a member of the CSSA\, CCFR\, NFA\, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.\nNote that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.

This doesn’t apply to the two ways listed below. 50% of all entry fees will go into a cash payout for the Top 3.The 50% will be distributed like this: 1st place receives 50%\, 2nd place receives 30%\, 3rd place receives 20%.\nExample: 30 shooters times $50 each = $1500.\n$1500 times 50%= $750 in payout.\n1st place receives 50%= $375\n2nd place receives 30%= $225\n3rd place receives 20%= $150\n$20 Jackpot- If you want\, you can pitch in and additional $20 cash when you check in at the office. The distance will change monthly and not be announced ahead of time. If you put $10 into the pot and participate\, the shooter that is closest to the dot\, wins 100% of that pot. Big target is worth 1 point\, small target is worth 7 points. If you clean it\, you can use any remaining rounds you have left on any target\, but must call your target.\nRefunds: Refunds: No refunds given within 7 days of the match (the Sunday before the match at 11:59pm). You may defer your entry fee to a future match\, but can only defer one time. Prior to the 7 day window\, a refund minus a $10 credit card / admin fee will be issued.\nMatch Director: Jeremy Moore
