DESCRIPTION:IDPA is a volunteer run sport and we are always looking for more volunteers to step up and assist with running matches. Becoming a certified SO is a great first step in helping with matches.\nThis will be an 8 hour IDPA SO training course instructed by Ben Watson\, consisting of roughly 4-5 hours of classroom time and 3 hours of range time.\nThose wishing to Sign up will need to have a valid IDPA membership for the past 6 months and have shot at least 6 Tier 1 or above matches. Participants will also need to have a working knowledge of the current 2026 IDPA rule books. Fee for this class will be $0 per student to be paid at the class. There is a strong emphasis on marksmanship fundamentals\, including matches shot with strong hand only\, weak hand only\, and transitions from strong hand to weak hand.\nCivilian Competitors can expect to shoot along side Military\, Law Enforcement and Nuclear SWAT.
