SUMMARY:2026 Guardian Long Range - Michigan
DESCRIPTION:–GUARDIAN MATCH WEEKEND OVERVIEW\nMatch Director – Bob Corby\, Zach Barr\nMarksmanship Training Center – Lake City\, MI\nIt’s more than a match. It’s a mission.\nMatch proceeds are used to make a donation to a local charity that supports children in need.\nGuardian matches consist of 8-10 precision rifle stages on Saturday as an individual event and 5-6 stages on Sunday as a team event. Sunday teams are determined by the Saturday results. The field is “folded” and the first place shooter from Saturday is paired with the lowest scoring shooter from Saturday. The shooters that performed well on Saturday (typically more experienced shooters) have a great opportunity throughout Sunday to mentor and help those with less experience.\nThe emphasis is on having a relaxed match environment where shooters of all skill levels can enjoy supporting our mission. This is a good environment for newer shooters and an opportunity for experienced shooters to shoot a match that is less intense than other matches they may have on the calendar this year.\nDinner\, individual match awards\, and the donor raffle table draw is held Saturday evening. Our beneficiary will also speak about the work they do supporting children in need during dinner. Our prize table is raffle based.\nSpecific details regarding on-site lodging\, course of fire\, training opportunities\, and other venue nuances will be communicated to registered shooters via email leading up to the event. Please email info@guardianlongrange.com with any questions\, anytime.\n–SPECTATORS and GUESTS\nWe encourage spectators! Please bring friends and family to enjoy the event. Email info@guardianlongrange.com with any questions regarding spectators and guests.\nLunch Sat & Sun and Dinner Sat night is included for registered shooters. Cost for +1 (non shooter) for dinner is $20.\nWe may have loaner rifles available for those wanting to shoot the match\, but haven’t purchased the components necessary to try out precision rifles yet. Email for details. Any shooter wanting to utilize a loaner rifle must be able to check-in on Friday afternoon.\n–DISTANCES\, TARGETS\, AND STAGE DESIGN\nShooters will have time before shooting a stage to review the targets\, target range\, and stage course of fire. Most stages will require a round count of 8-12 shots.\nCompetitors can expect to engage targets at known distances from 100 to 1200 yards. Target size will vary in difficulty based on the shooter’s position(s)\, distance(s)\, and time allotted. Expect an average size of 2-3 MOA targets. In typical stages\, shooters will have 90-120 seconds to execute the stage. Some venues may have moving targets incorporated into the stage as well. Stages may consist of multiple positions and/or targets. Coaching (and friendly heckling) on the clock is allowed and encouraged (as long as the shooter wants to hear it) and it doesn’t interfere with the ability of the RO(s) and Spotters(s) to manage the stage.\n–RIFLE\, EQUIPMENT\, and AMMO COUNT\nAny rifle capable of holding a repeatable

SUMMARY:SHOOT SIG - Big Sioux Rifle and Pistol Club
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor\, you’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed with less than 100 rounds and in under an hour. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee. Bring any pistol or PCC or try out a new SIG pistol or PCC for an additional fee. You must be a SHOOT SIG member and shoot a SIG firearm to be eligible for prizes.\n*NOTE: If you want to shoot in more than one Division or multiple entries in a single Division\, you must first complete your initial registration and pay the initial $45 match fee. Then\, you must register for each additional entry and select “Additional Division” under Extras in the payment information section to receive the discounted match fee of $25. Each additional entry in this manner will allow you to pick a respective Division and Squad; this will result in multiple registrations for the same match being displayed under your PractiScore dashboard profile.\n**NOTE: As a reminder\, we operate using a “cold range” principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box or holster until you are under the direct supervision of a SHOOT SIG Range Officer and have been instructed to “load and make ready” on a prescribed course of fire. If you are planning to shoot the match with your carry gun and you arrive to the range with a loaded (hot) firearm\, we will have designated safe areas clearly marked where you can safely unload your firearm prior to checking in. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time to allow enough time to check in at the registration booth. Once you have checked in and are assigned a SHOOT SIG Range Officer with your respective squad\, further instructions will be provided to you regarding when and where you can load your magazines\, and/or function check your firearm (if needed).\n***NOTE: Online Registration will close at 8 a.m. on Friday\, September 11th. Walk up registrations will be permitted during the main match from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
