SUMMARY:GPA at MCRC June 2026
DESCRIPTION:Mid Carolina Rifle Club will be hosting an official Galactic Pistol Alliance match in June. PAR time for the match has been set at 99 seconds. The 5 stages will be simple and easy to construct and tear down.\nGPA has been in development and evolving since December of 2022. Here are a few features that make GPA such a blast!\n-No concealment garment required.\n-½ second scoring.\n-Every stage may have up to 24 required shots. More shooting equals more fun!\n-Ammo management is entirely the responsibility of the shooter.\n-You can load your mags to capacity and carry as many as you want.\n-Every stage requires one mandatory reload after the first shot and before the last. You decide when and where to\ndo it.\n-You dropped a magazine with rounds in it? It’s legal! No PE!\n-Targets may be required to be shot while you are moving.\n-Any stage can have an unlimited number of steel targets as well as unlimited non-threats!\n-With few exceptions\, whatever equipment you are using in another pistol sport is probably legal in GPA. At MCRC\, we will add a few divisions\, even though they are not classified by GPA: PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) and RIM (Rimfire).\n-The rulebook is clear\, concise\, unambiguous and only 12 pages long!

SUMMARY:Cedar Fork Precision Steel GAS GUN ONLY
DESCRIPTION:PRS style Gas Gun (semi-auto only) match. Long range center-fire rifle on steel targets from 350 yards out to 600 or so. This match is NOT necessarily suited for LPVO rifles but is still good training. There will be 6 stages\, limited to 25 shooters. Scoring for this match will be “Time Plus” scoring with with all targets being designated as “Hit to advance” and have a 20 round limit per stage so a maximum of 120 rounds but there will only be 54 or so potential target engagements. There will be a video posted on the Cedar Fork Precision YouTube page (prior to the first match) discussing the changes and examples of how these stages are shot and scored. These matches are definitely friendly to the shooter that has not stretched the legs of their rifle as well as the highly experienced distance shooter. I as the match director and owner of the range my intent is to establish as much of a learning and enjoyable environment as possible. This will be a season long points race. You only need to shoot a total of two matches to qualify for the finale planed for September 19th\, 2026. Details will he filled in as the season progresses.

SUMMARY:ORSA Multigun (3gun\, 2gun\, 1gun) - June 2026
DESCRIPTION:The easiest way to find the correct facility entrance is to use Google Maps and head to “ORSA Action Pistol Entrance”.\n###\n# Rules and divisions\n###\nOur match runs under UML Multigun v2.3 rules and equipment divisions\, with a few small changes:\n– A “TacOps Classic” division for y’all still competing without pistol optics\n– A “1 gun pistol” division for those really wanting to maximize pistol fun\nPlease see the match documents for the UML rules and for an overview of what each division means. If you’re unsure\, just bring what you have and we’ll get you sorted at check-in. If you’re a new shooter\, please arrive close to 9:30\, leave your guns in the car\, and come talk to us at registration about range safety rules.\n###\n# Fees\n###\nMatch fees are $15 for ORSA members\, $20 for public\, and $5 for juniors. We can only accept cash.\n###\n# Safety rules\n###\nHandguns may be carried unloaded and holstered (as in most other sports). Long guns must be unloaded with a visible chamber flag\, and carried in a bag or with the muzzle always pointing up or down.\n###\n# Everything else\n###\nRound counts will depend on your equipment choices\, but anticipate roughly 75rds shotgun\, 75rds pistol\, 75rds rifle. You CAN NOT use any penetrator rounds like M855/”green tip” or similar. Slugs or slings will not be required without an announcement before the match.\nWe will usually have 5 stages\, depending on how big registration gets by the prior weekend. You will have to shoot out to 100-125yd with rifle/PCC\, so make sure you know your holds.\n###\n# Late arrivals\n###\nIf you don’t show up at registration by 9:45\, we will be unhappy with you.
