Feel free to email with questions.\nWe are a friendly\, no ego group of responsible firearm owners who leverage this venue by running a monthly match with an emphasis on physical & mental challenges not normally found anywhere elsewhere.\nAbove all\, we want everyone to enjoy themselves\, build camaraderie and improve themselves and inspire others to do the same.\nChamber flags and long gun cases are mandatory for long guns moving from car to stage\, and from stage to stage. Suppressed rifles that are too hot to safely case may be carried stage to stage muzzle up with chamber flag installed.\nCase and uncase long guns only pointed into a berm or designated direction. Uncasing and pointing a muzzle at anyone at any time is an immediate match DQ.\nNO ARMOR PIERCING AMMO ALLOWED. If you shoot thru a steel plate with armor piercing rounds\, you will be fined $200.00.\nLimited Division\nHandgun\nElectronic sights\, optical sights\, compensators\, muzzle brakes or barrel porting are prohibited.\nMagazine length may not exceed 5.561” (141.25mm).\nRifle\nNot more than one (1) non-magnified electronic or optical sight is permitted. Electronic or optical sights originally designed to be capable of any magnification (whether used or not) are prohibited. Any number of iron sights may be used. A1.4.2.2 Supporting devices (bipods\, bags etc.) are prohibited. Muzzle devices may not exceed 1 inch in diameter and 3 inches in length (as measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the device).\nTactical Division\nHandgun\nElectronic sights\, optical sights\, compensators\, muzzle brakes or barrel porting are prohibited. Magazine length may not exceed 5.561” (141.25mm).\nRifle\nNot more than one (1) electronic or optical sight is permitted. Any number of iron sights may be used.\nA supplemental magnifier may be used with the permitted optical sight provided the magnifier does not contain an aiming reticle\, cannot be used as an aiming device by itself\, and remains mounted in the same location on the rifle for the duration of the event. A competitor may use the magnifier in either the magnified or unmagnified mode without restriction. Supporting devices (bipods\, bags etc.) are prohibited. Muzzle devices may not exceed 1 inch in diameter and 3 inches in length (as measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the device).\nStealth Division\nHandgun\nThe handgun in its ready condition\, with magazine inserted and all accessories attached\, must fit wholly within a box with internal dimensions of 8.938” x 6.938” x 1.938” (tolerance +0.0625”\, -0”); see Appendix B for a reasonable facsimile. Measurement will be made with the slide parallel to the longest axis of the box. All magazines must comply.\nRifle\nMaximum magazine capacity is thirty-one (31) rounds\, and no magazine may be loaded with more than thirty (30) rounds after the start signal. Magazines may be coupled together provided the capacity is not increased beyond the permitted maximum.\nIf a bipod is used\, it may start any course of fire installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the competitor’s discretion. When used\, it must remain attached to the rifle for the duration of that course of fire. Other supporting devices (dual bipods\, tripods\, bags etc.) are prohibited.\nOpen Division\nHandgun\nThe holster must safely retain the handgun during vigorous movement and completely cover the trigger. The belt to which the holster is attached must be worn at waist level.\nRifle\nSupporting devices (bipods\, bags etc.) may start any course of fire installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the competitor’s discretion and may be abandoned after the start signal.\nARMORED +P Division\nArmored +P Division Shooters must use a single rifle and single pistol for the entire event.\nHandgun No limitations on accessories not otherwise prohibited.\nRifle\nSupporting devices (bipods etc.) may start any stage installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the participant’s discretion. Any supporting device used on any stage must be carried on the shooter during every stage. No other limitations on accessories.\nAuxiliary Equipment\nA plate carrier system with front and rear hard armor plates must be worn during each course of fire. Plates must be rated to stop rifle calibers OR weigh 7 pounds each.\nA ballistic or bump helmet must be worn during each course of fire. Skateboard helmets that are compliant with the ASTM F1492 are acceptable.\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS\nThe competitor must start each stage with the following MINIMUM load out within arms’ reach on belt\, vest\, chest rig\, thigh rig\, or cargo/pants pockets\, or attached to firearms.\n4-Loaded Rifle Magazines and 2-loaded Pistol Magazines.  A rifle sling is not mandatory\, but it behooves the shooter to have one on the rifle or a single point on the body.\nSCORING:\nFTE=15 second penalty. Failure to engage applies to any steel target not specifically shot at or knocked down on a stage. Falling steel must fall or it is an FTE penalty per instance.\nFTN=10 second penalty. Failure to neutralize is for paper targets only. Any paper target that has less than 2 hits or less than required hits per stage brief.\nNO SHOOT=30 second penalty.  No shoot penalty is per hit on a no shoot target and is cumulative.  10 hits on a no shoot is scored as 10 penalties.\nCOGS=60 second penalty.  This is for any infraction or failure to follow stage procedure as outlined in stage brief.  For any instance a shooter cannot perform a physical item on the stage brief (example tire flip\, kbell throw or carry\, etc) the shooter will be given a COGS penalty per instance.\nStage briefs may stipulate scoring other than listed here.

This is not a competition and is REQUIRED to compete on the Richmond Action Range for action matches (USPSA\, PCSL\, IDPA) or Saturday Practice. This course will not teach you how to use a firearm so please be familiar and competent with your pistol and equipment.\nEquipment needed:\n– Handgun\n– 3 magazines minimum\n– 150 rounds of ammo (no steel jacketed ammo allowed)\n– Pistol holster (belt must go through belt loops)\n– Mag holsters\n– Eye & Ear protection\nPrice is $160\, with RRGC members refunded $40 upon completion of the class. Please note that refunds are available up to a week before your scheduled class date – any closer and it will be dependent on our ability to fill your spot.\nSAFETY UPDATE REGARDING SIG P320: The RRGC Board of Directors has implemented an immediate and total ban on the SIG Sauer P320 platform across all club property. This includes all variants such as the M17\, M18\, X5\, AXG\, and any aftermarket configurations (e.g.\, custom FCUs\, third-party frames). As of now\, P320s are completely prohibited anywhere on RRGC grounds – not just on the ranges\, but also in parking areas\, vehicles\, bags\, and all match or event spaces.
