SUMMARY:Iowa Precision Rifle Match (IPRM) - July 2026
DESCRIPTION:Iowa Precision Rifle Match (IPRM) is an Entry level PRS style match. This series is designed to help shooters get started in PRS with a low competition level\, low gear requirements\, and coaching along the way. If you want to shoot your first PRS style match this is the place for you.\nMatch Format\nThese matches will have 6 to 8 stages. Each stage you will have a designated course of fire set by the match director and have 8 to 10 shots at each. The course of fire will give you defined positions you need to shoot from (prone\, barricade\, tree\, roof top) and which target you need to shoot on the stage (Target #1\, 5 targets in a row\, targets biggest to smallest). The distance to each target will be provided in the course of fire. The stage could have one position and three or four different targets\, or it might have four positions and one target. At each stage you will have time before shooting to find each target\, write out your drop data\, make a preliminary wind call\, and create a stage plan to execute the course of fire. Once it’s your turn to shoot you will have 2 min to complete the stage. Any shots after 2 min do not count towards your score.\nScoring\nScores are tracked per shooter. (no teams). You will receive one point for each impact on the correct steel target during each stage.\nSquads\nThe morning of the match we’ll divide up into squads and shoot each stage together. Shooters in the squad will take turns shooting in the order provided. Once all the shooters in the squad have shot the squad will move as a group to the next stage. Shooters in each squad will be asked to help “judge” the match. Shooters will need to keep track of the 2 min time limit\, spot for impacts\, and keep score of how many targets are hit. Shooters are encouraged to help the squad with these duties while not shooting to keep the match moving faster.\nSuggested Gear (Rentals available too)\nWe recommend you come to your first match with minimal gear and see what other shooters are using. Don’t spend a ton of money on gear that is not right for this style of shooting. Ask to borrow gear when you don’t have it. Everyone is there to help everyone.\nRifle with a scope that has exposed turrets. (first focal plane recommended)\n80 rounds of ammunition\nConfirmed Ballistic Data for your rifle and ammunition to 600yds (farther is better)\nBipod\nRear Bag\nData holder for stage targets (mounted on rifle or quarterback arm bar)\nPositional bag\nHearing Protection\nClothing appropriate for the weather\nTripod with binoculars or spotting scope (optional)\nSnacks or lunch as food is not typically provided. Water will be available on the range.\nMatch Schedule\n8:15am – Match Registration and Squading opens (Zero Board Opens) (pay $40 match fee at check-in)\n9:00am – Safety Brief (Attendance Required)\n9:15am – Range Hot (Start Shooting)\n3pm(ish) – Match should be over.\nWe don’t give out any awards\, trophies\, or prize table for these matches. DESCRIPTION:July 2026 Course of Fire for the NRL22.  We will be shooting this month’s 5 stages as published by the NRL22 organization.  In addition\, one club stage may be added at the Match Director’s discretion.  Stage descriptions are published on the last week of the preceding month and can be found at NRL22.org.\nMatch registration will begin at 10:00am.  Safety briefing to start at 10:30.  Match will begin shortly thereafter with a ~30 minute sighting shoot.  The course of fire will begin around 11:00.\nMatch fees are $20 for Lee Sportsmen Members\, $30 for non-members and are paid at the range.\nPlease note that all matches are weather permitting.  Our shooting line is covered\, so rain will generally not result in the match being called.

The gun store opens at noon\, so make sure you have enough ammo before the match starts.\nThis is an unsanctioned steel challenge match\, but we will be following the SCSA and USPSA rules closely.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nWe will be running a cold range. Firearms must be unloaded at all times except under the direct supervision of an RSO(Range Safety Officer).\nPCC’s must have an empty chamber indicator in place at all times\, and PCC should preferably be cased/bagged until brought to shooting position with RSO present.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated safety table\, or unbagged under the direction of an RSO at the shooting position. Safe table will be clearly marked with signage.\nNO AMMUNITION AT THE SAFE TABLE!\nAll pistol calibers permitted. In light of these events\, several government agencies and private facilities have also adopted similar temporary restrictions on the use of these firearms while further testing and evaluations are conducted.\nEffective immediately\, all P320-based pistols are prohibited at Belton Gun Club until further notice. This includes all variants and modified versions of the P320 platform.\nPlease note: This restriction applies only to the P320 and its variants. Same stages both days\, but scored as separate match’s.\nOpen Squadding: A very laid back format!\nRegister On Practiscore\nShow up anytime between 8:30-11:00.\nEveryone (shooters & spectators) checks in at the office and signs waiver.\nProceed to the marked parking lot\nWalk to the bays & check in with the Match Director\nGo to the stage of your choice\, shoot it\, then continue to remaining stages.\nYou’ll need another shooter to be your RO\nTimers and tablets will be on the stage.\nStages:\n6 Stages\, all in the bays\nStage Design- Similar to USPSA type stages but all static steel type targets that don’t fall. Each target requires two hits.\nNo Reset other than painting the targets you hit after your done shooting a stage.\nDivisions: Pistol\, PCC\, 22LR Rimfire Divisions\nRound Count: Approximately 160\, if shot clean. Bring more!\nRegistering a second gun: If you would like to shoot in two divisions and register a second gun for $15\, you can do that when you arrive at the range and check in\nRefunds: No refunds given within 7 days of the match (the previous Saturday at 11:59pm).
