This is a scenic ride around the lake and through the country past farms and fields\, for approximately 6 miles. You will see the USFS trail head and a large paved parking lot on the left (North) side of the road. The entrance to FRGC is directly across the road from the USFS trail head. Drive down the entrance road approximately 100 yards and you will see the large FRGC gate which will be open\, so just drive through and follow the road to the large parking area on the right. \nFrom all points East – Take I-90 to Exit 15/Fernan (Not to be confused with the 15th Street Exit!). Take Exit 15 down to the light. Turn right at the light and the USFS Fernan Ranger Station will be on the right hand. Follow the directions above to the FRGC range.\nSee map on range website.  Google maps (as of November 2022) shows the range address in the woods east of the entrance road and gate. DESCRIPTION:DETAILS  \n\nSilhouette Event- 2nd Saturday  from 9 – noon on the MPR for rimfire silhouette.   \nMembers of all 5 clubs are welcome.    \nDiablo  requested a portion of the MPR (  8  positions).   We  operate concurrently with the usual USI public shoot for 2 hrs from 10 to 12.     Both the public and the match break and check targets at the direction of the CRSO. \nFees are $7 for members and $13 for invited guests.  $3 go to USI for each shooter. Fees are collected at the MPR\, not at the USI Clubhouse .\nUSI waiver and a Blue Card issued from the USI clubhouse required prior to the match- there is no charge to these one time processes.\nI call the Silhouettes in the traditional Spanish\, avoiding confusion with the public shooters.\n\nSilhouette shooters are called to the bench\, guns pointed downrange\, flags inserted.  After approaching the bench\, firearms can not be touched until prompted for the live fire.\n\nUpon command\, shooters fire for 2 min.  After 2 banks of animals\, they return the guns to the rack\, flags inserted.\n\nThere is no gun handling except for the actual 10 shots per relay.   \n\n\nThis is a reoccurring event every month- we intend to host this match barring weather or extraordinary barriers preventing the event from occurring in a safe environment. Heavy fog\, severe weather or other acts of nature could force a postponement.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 ILPRS Season.\nILPRSC Matches are fast-paced long-range shooting competitions that will test your rifle marksmanship skills as you manage various barricades and obstacles to engage targets from 200 – 600 yards under a time constraint. Matches will consist of 8-10 stages where you will engage steel targets from different positions and various barricades. Target sizes are designed to be challenging. Target distances are usually known so shooters should have a good DOPE out to 600 yards.\nThis year ILPRS matches will not count for Precision Rifle Regional Series Points.\nMatches start at 9:00 am with a mandatory safety brief at 8:30 am. Registration opens at 8:00 am.  Matches typically take 4-5 hours to complete.  Gates open at 6am.\nILPRSC will follow the MODIFIED PRS 2025 rule book for scoring\, match points\, and safety.  A copy of the modified rules can be obtained by emailing your MD (Jonathan Trice JonathanTrice@gmail.com)\, on the Facebook ILPRS Page\, or at any ILPRSC Club Match.\nThis year there will only be two divisions of shooters.   Bolt Gun OPEN and Gas Gun OPEN.  Bolt Gun and Gas Gun will shoot separate courses of fire. Courses of fire will be separated by target shape.  Bolt Gun Shooters will engage shapes (squares & Circles) and animal targets while Gas Gun shooters will primarily engage IPSC targets and animal shapes.  Ideally Bolt Gun shooters and Gas Gun Shooters will be squadded together.  In the event that there are not enough gas gun shooters to justify a stand-alone squad Bolt gun shooters will be added to their squad to maintain match flow.\nMagnum calibers are not allowed. Please adhere to a 3200-fps maximum muzzle velocity for all rounds fired. Typical calibers are .308\, 6.5 Creedmoor\, .260 Remington\, 6mm\, 25mm\, and .223 Remington. A note of advice: larger caliber and smaller caliber heavier bullets are easier to spot and confirm impacts and misses.  RO/Spotters cannot always guarantee visual confirmation of small caliber light weight bullet impact or miss.  Match MD will do their best to utilize flashers and other hit indicating devices to help shooters and RO/Spotters identify Impacts and misses.\nBring a MINIMUM of 100 rounds to the match. While the course of fire is less than 100 rounds\, bring extra to account for any necessary reshoots.\nShooters should bring a scoped rifle\, ammo\, and good DOPE. Shooters can also use support bags and slings\, but these are not required. Tripods will be allowed on specific stages. DESCRIPTION:The smallbore (.22LR) Mini Palma is intended to replicate the high power Palma match\, which is shot at 800\, 900 and a 1000 yards. In the Mini Palma match\, targets are scaled to simulate distance. Some match details:\n* Distance is 100 yards\n* Shooting is from the prone or bench position.\n* Consists of 30 shots\, loaded singly.\n* Ten shots for score at each target\, with twenty sighters permitted.\n* Time limit is 45 minutes to complete the match target.\n* Cost is $8.00 for just this shoot; $15 if shooting the F-Class to follow.\n* Held on the second Saturday of each month from April through October\, weather and range conditions permitting.\n* Attendees need to arrive by 8:30am for the safety brief and prep. Match begins at 9am. However\, setup begins at 7:30am for those who would like to assist.\nThis match is followed immediately by the Smallbore F-Class match.\nPre-registration is preferred as we may not always be able to accommodate walk-ins. SUMMARY:Homestead IDPA monthly match - Saturday May 9th
DESCRIPTION:The Homestead IDPA tier 1 monthly match is open to all IDPA divisions and classifications.\nNew shooters and junior participants are allowed to use a .22 LR caliber firearm but such small caliber may not be able to knock down steel targets.\nImportant:\n– Registration is at 8 am at the tiki hut on Indigo bay and we’ll start shooting at 8:30 am. Please be signed in and ready to go by 8:20 am.\n– Cost is $30 per shooter. Cash only\, to be paid when you sign in the morning of the match.\n– We’ll have 6 stages\, min round count is ~120 but we recommend bringing at least 150 rd in case of reshoots.\n– Handgun shooters: you will need your firearm\, a suitable hard holster\, a min of 3 magazines\, and two mag pouches.\n– PCC shooters – you will need your carbine\, a min of 2 magazines\, and a mag pouches unless you keep your extra mag(s) in a pocket.\n– There will be 6 squads of 12 shooters each. Squadding may change to balance the number of shooters\, squad experience and safety officers.\n– We need help to set up. If you are able to help\, we start building the stages at 7 am\, the day of the match.\n– If you register and aren’t able to attend\, please withdraw from the match on Practiscore so another person can take your spot.\n– Walk-ins are welcome as long as we are within the 72 shooters max capacity.\n– Once the match is over\, please help take down your last stage. Minimum)\nSERVICE:  All iron sighted military rifles\, any country of origin.\nHERITAGE : Iron sighted\, pre 1900 or replica (yup\, that even includes your 1894 Winchester!)\nRIMFIRE : You read right. Long range .22 RF shooting is a thing\, so they now have a class!\nAwards will be given for High Overall and Class winners. Classes with less than 5 entries will be combined with other classes for award purposes. DESCRIPTION:The Coastal NRL22 is a nonprofit organization that holds matches at 17 South Rod & Gun Club. The Club is a Private Range located in Fleming\, Georgia near Savannah. The matches are fun and challenging shooting off barricades as in a Precision Rifle center fire match. We use the competition to promote firearm safety\, marksmanship\, comradery with fellow shooters and family outings for adults and children to enjoy.\nThe Coastal NRL22 Season of 2026 – 2027 at 17 South Rod & Gun Club.
