DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Central Carolina Gun Club\,Inc. LONG GONG. Long Gong is a 300 Yard Challenge for the .22LR rifle. The Targets are AR400 steel Gongs with a diameter of 8”\, 6”\, 4”. Scoring is 1 point for impacts on the 8”\, 2 points for the 6”\, and finally\, 3 points for the 4”. This match is shot off of a bench with a ten round limit for 5 sets. That’s 50 rounds per match. Bags & bipods only. There is a three MINUTE time limit per stage. Order of fire is 8” first and an IMPACT is required to move on to the next target\, than 6”\, last the 4”. If you miss a target you have to fall back to the last target impacted and continue from there. On the other hand if you hit a target you can choose to remain hitting said target you will be accumulating that targets point value.  Score will be totaled after each round with hight score being 27.  This is a Fun & Challenging game of precision for all ages and levels marksmanship. So come out and enjoy a little friendly competition while making some new life long friends. DESCRIPTION:TYL (test your limits)\nWe will shoot eight different distances from 50 yards to 275 yards. At each distance you will shoot targets from large to small with 10 rounds must hit to move on and shoot any remaining rounds on the smallest target. You’ll have a 2 minute time frame. Large targets will be generous in the beginning but definitely get small at the end. Shooters will be able to shoot from the bench or prone if they wish and will only be able to use a bipod in the front and sandbag in the back of their gun. As always this will be a family-friendly atmosphere shooters will be encouraged to help each other out. Fee will be $40 per shooter \, half price for kids 16 and under. The range will have a loaner rifle available if somebody would like to come and try this event . Loaner rifle is free to shooter \, they will just need to pay for the ammo which we will have and we will have all  the dope for the rifle for you.\nDirections to the range:\nFrom the town of Valley View where 922 intersects interstate 35 you will go North on the WEST frontage road\, they are two way. At approximately one mile you will see the cemetery\, go past the cemetery 500-600 yards and you’ll see a gate with ( 2 ORANGE cones in front of it) . This is the only gate you can use to get to the range❗❗Pull through gate and wait for someone to let you know which route to take into the range. This is only if it has been raining.\nIf it’s too wet out you can get shuttled down to the range. Otherwise just follow the pasture road back to the range on top of the hill. When you go through a gate make sure it is shut behind you and secured shut with a chain or wire❗ Do not let  animals through the gate ❗❗

There are no exceptions to this.\nIf you are not familiar with NRL22\, it is a great (and cheaper) way to experience precision rifle shooting.\nYou don’t have to be a Member of NRL22 organization to shoot the monthly matches\, but  you do have to be a member if you want to be tracked by NRL22 and try to qualify for the NRL22 Nationals each year.\nThe monthly NRL22 Course of fire will be 5 stages (with a possibility of extra side stages). 80+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 100 yards. There is a good mix between prone\, barricade and positional stages. Steel targets sized from 1/4″ to 6″ depending on the stage description.\nMatches are focused on skills development and casual competition in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity to challenge your marksmanship skills from obstacles and barricades engaging targets as small as ¼ of an inch.
