SUMMARY:Shoot GTR North Florida 2-Gun May 24 Match
DESCRIPTION:North Florida 2-Gun matches use Time-Plus scoring and generally follow USPSA Multigun Rules for safety. Typical matches consist of 5 stages\, 75 pistol\, 100 Rifle. Summer Mini-Matches are shorter. Occasional Super-Stage Matches consist of 3 high-round-count stages.\nPLEASE NOTE!! All shooters and observers must have a Shoot GTR Liability Waiver on file before the match can begin. If you would like to confirm your waiver status please text the GTR Proshop at 352-376-8806. You can access the form at shootgtr.com.\n==========================\n“Run What Ya Brung” Matches\nFollowing our “Run What Ya Brung” motto\, shooters are (unless specified otherwise for a particular match) allowed to shoot multiple rifles (e.g.\, one for short-range stages\, another for long-range)\, and multiple pistols. Divisions segregate by pistol (irons or optics) and number of guns used. “2-Gun” Division is for one pistol\, one rifle. “Multi-Gun” Division allows more than one pistol and/or rifle. Shooters may use a PCC or a 22LR AR\, or .22LR pistol in the short-range stages\, in addition to AR-15 and 9 mm pistol\, for instance\, in the Multi-Gun divisions.\nQuestions should be directed to nfl2gun@gmail.com.\n==========================\n“Super Stage” Matches\nOur occasional Super-Stage Matches consist of three (3) high-round -count stages. Limit of 1 rifle\, and 1 pistol. Divisions segregate by pistol (irons or optics).\n===========================\nMatch Safety Rules – Please read these rules thoroughly. Any questions should be directed to nfl2gun@gmail.com.\n1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded even when they are not. The North Florida 2-gun match operates on a cold range. All firearms will be unloaded at all times and safely holstered\, bagged\, placed on a safe table\, or placed in a cart with muzzle down and chamber flag inserted until it is your turn to shoot and your RO has given the appropriate commands for you to load your firearm(s). Gun handling must be conducted at safe tables as per USPSA rules\, or at the discretion of an RO or Match Director. No ammunition on red safe tables\, nor in your hands while at a safe table.\n2. Never point your firearm at anything you are not willing to harm or destroy\, regardless if the firearm has a chamber flag. All rifles must have a chamber flag inserted at all times unless it is being used during a course of fire. All rifles must be stored in a cart with muzzle point downwards\, placed on a safe table with muzzle pointed in a safe direction\, bagged\, or held in hand with muzzle pointing either straight down or straight up. Be mindful of your muzzle to not accidentally sweep or flag any part of anyone’s body.\n3. Never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire. If moving more than 2-3 steps\, take your finger off of the trigger. We highly suggest engaging the safety on your rifle when transitioning between positions\, as this may help to prevent a negligent discharge if the trigger is inadvertently pressed.\n4. Be sure of your target and backstop. Firing at a target with a questionable backstop is cause for concern. Ask your RO to be sure. Negligent discharges due to improper handling of firearm\, including accidental discharging over a berm is not allowed.\n5. Red safe tables may be used by shooters to check unloaded firearms for function. Ammunition\, whether loose\, or contained in a magazine or box may not be placed on red safe tables. You may load your magazines anywhere you would like except at red safe tables.\n6. Shooters must always keep their gun muzzle pointed within a 180-degree plane facing downrange.\n7. You may not sling a loaded rifle. If you would like to sling your rifle within your course of fire\, you must unload your rifle first\, have your RO call “clear”\, then sling it.\n8. A firearm must be safely placed\, with safety engaged or decocked\, in dump barrel or bucket before drawing or firing another firearm. You may not discharge a firearm while holding a second firearm.\n9. If reholstering a loaded hammer-fired pistol with manual safety\, the safety must be engaged. If reholstering a loaded hammer-fired pistol with decocker\, the pistol must be decocked. You may not go prone with a loaded and holstered pistol.\n10. Unless specifically allowed as per stage instructions\, firearms are not allowed to be grounded nor dropped.\n11. If either your eye or ear protection falls off or is in the process of falling off\, you may ask the RO to stop your stage\, and restart it. Safety is our number one priority\, and we value our vision and hearing. You will be allowed to reshoot your stage.\n12. Your ROs may coach you during the course of your run for any reason. This may include friendly reminders to not forget a target\, and/or safety reminders on firearm handling. You may ask your RO questions at any given time\, even during your course of fire. Safety is of the utmost importance\, and we are here to help everyone succeed.\n13. Your ROs may stop your stage run at any given time for any reason. This may include\, but is not limited to: gun safety issues\, shooter safety violations\, stage not having been reset properly\, stage errors and/or props not functioning correctly\, safety issues regarding your firearm\, hearing or eye protection falling off or incorrectly placed\, and any equipment malfunctions. Reshoots will be at the discretion of the ROs.\n14. Your squad RO and Match Director have the final say on all safety and operational matters. Any infractions to the above safety and procedural rules may be subject to a penalty or match disqualification. Any further questions should be directed to nfl2gun@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:FTRPA Outdoor Steel 2026-5-24
DESCRIPTION:This club match is based on Steel Challenge\, but is not an SCSA sanctioned event. Our aim is to run a fun match. We’re newbie friendly and it’s not ultra competitive. If our match shows as full\, you can still sign up for the waiting list. As plans change for shooters\, we routinely move people into the match when openings pop up.\nThe shoot consists of 5 stations of 5-6 steel targets of varying sizes and placed in varying patterns – each stage consists of five strings. Many stages will have a stop plate that must be shot last. The strings are timed\, with your highest time being dropped\, and your remaining 4 strings counting as your score for that stage. Please bring enough ammo (~300 rounds)\, magazines (5)\, and bring the firearm unloaded and cased. We start from the low ready\, and do not use holsters in the match.\nEntry is $15; second guns for any entry are also $15; Juniors (under 18) are free with an adult entry. Payment is made at registration with cash\, Zelle\, Venmo\, or check.\nRegistration opens by 8:15am. Registration closes firmly at 9am. Anyone not checked in by that time will be removed from their squad.\nSee https://www.ftrpa.com/programs/action-steel/ for more details.

SUMMARY:Volusia ICORE and Friends Florida Cup and Classifier Extravaganza May 24 2026
DESCRIPTION:For the May match\, we are combining two events\, the Second Florida ICORE Cup\, between the three Florida clubs\, Escambia County\, Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club\, and Volusia County along with ICORE’s request for more classifiers in the Big 6 and Classic divisions. Big 6 and Classic divisions are highly encouraged for this match. If you want to shoot both Big 6 and Classic\, feel free. We will allow time to quickly change rigs if needed.\nThe Florida Cup will be decided using three criteria:\n1. Total number of ICORE members participating in your matches during April – July.\n2. An average of the 6 classifiers shot during your April – July matches to find a club score.\n3. Total number of Big 6 and Classic classifiers sent in to ICORE HQ.\nEach criteria will be evaluated and a score of 6 points to first place\, 4 points for second and 2 points for third.\nAll shooters participating in a match\, regardless of their home club\, will count for that club’s aggregate score.\nWe will shoot the following classifiers for the FL Cup. CS-022\, CS-025\, CS-026\, CS-027\, CS-036\, and CS-037. The round count is 120.\nRegistration begins at 8:30 am with the match briefing at 9:00 am.\nMatch Fee is $15 for VCGHC members and $20 for non-members. Shooters who wish to shoot a second gun may do so for an additional $10. A second gun requires a separate registration. If the second gun is a “snubby” in the same division as the other gun- please put “Snubby” after your last name in the registration so it will be easily distinguished when scoring as it won’t necessarily show as a different division. Only revolver scores will be submitted to ICORE.\nWe also invite semi-auto shooters to join us. You will shoot following ICORE rules. You are limited to 8 rounds in any magazine and start with 8 rounds in the gun. Just register in the semi-auto iron sights (Semi-IS) or semi-auto optic sights\, (Semi-OS) divisions. List classification as Unclassified. If there are enough in this division\, we can set you up in your own squad. Plan on enough magazines for 36 round stages.

SUMMARY:CFRPC PCSL Pistol 1-GUN Match - May
DESCRIPTION:***NOTICE***\nAs of 08/05/2025\, CFRPC will no longer allow the SIG SAUER P320 pistol\, in all of its variants\, to be used on the premises of CFRPC\, effective immediately. Other SIG SAUER platforms continue to be welcome at CFRPC.\nMATCH FEES:\n– CFRPC member: $10\n– Non-member: $20\n8:15am…Check-in opens.\n8:45am…Check-in closes (all no-show spots are forfeit).\n8:45am…Safety Brief (Safety brief attendance is MANDATORY for all participants and visitors)\n9:00am…Shooting begins after the MANDATORY safety briefing.\nREMEMBER: YOU MUST STILL COME INTO THE SIGN-IN TRAILER TO COMPLETE YOUR MATCH REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH!\nEveryone\, including spectators\, must show their valid CFRPC Membership Badge or their non-member Extended Release and Waiver Card during the morning Check-in. If you have neither\, you must complete and execute a release as soon as you arrive on property. (The extended release and waiver form is available in the check-in trailer\, or you can print it out and bring it with you from https://cfrpc.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/CFRPC_Extended_Release_2025-26_RSF-2-1.pdf\nPCSL PISTOL (1GUN) match Trial\nInstead of Zombie Match this March\, we are trying a PCSL style 1gun (Pistol or PCC\, NOT BOTH!) match. One (1) gun only.\nIt has also been moved to 3/22 due to personal scheduling conflicts.\nPCSL is a relatively new action shooting league that is steadily growing. It is based on USPSA but has a more challenging target\, streamlined divisions\, and a simpler more free-style stage design ruleset.\nThe rule book is here\, its pretty similar to USPSA but simpler:\nhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1dnlfHLppF5lB-Sf-HO4ariu4k8mDXM1M/view\nNOTE: A lot of rules pertain to carbine\, shotgun\, and 2/3-gun issues such as: slinging\, shotguns\, abandoning\, pre-loading\, showing clear on clock(DMT) etc. This can all be skipped as this is a pistol OR PCC 1-gun match.\nHere is the cliff notes:\nSafety Rules\n* very similar to USPSA\, certain “minor” infractions are stage-DQs (14.x) instead of match-DQs (15.x)\, however all the big no-no’s (180\, AD\, flagging\, dropping loaded gun\,\n* 5.x the basic RSO commands are identical to USPSA for one-gun events.\n* no high muzzle with loaded chamber reloads is still a club rule. first is a warning (13.x strike)\n* ALL OTHER CLUB SPECIFIC RULES APPLY!\n* 1.2 and 1.3 –> normal cold range gun handling and always-completely-unloaded-guns rules\, however we have safe tables on the LAR where competitors may handle UNLOADED guns with no ammo present on the safe-table\, or anything sat upon the safe table shall contain no ammo as well. All guns handled at the safe table must be pointed directly ahead at the berm. If your intended competition firearm is loaded when you arrive\, you’ll need to inform the MD and be directed to a bay to clear it\, you may NOT do it on your own anywhere else on CFRPC property unless you are a member\, correctly signed in\, and with the correct shooting privileges\, and obeying all CFRPC rules.\n* 1.7 –> describes function-fire and practice areas which can be provided in PCSL however is generally NOT ALLOWED at our range. Again\, zero gun handling/shooting outside of a safe table\, or under the command of an RSO: UNLESS you are a CFRPC member with the correct shooting privileges (or a properly-signed-in guest of one)\, and have signed in and complied with all CFRPC rules; including\, in particular on the LAR: LAR shooting endorsement\, informed the RSO on duty\, are on an empty bay\, and have informed and received approval of all Match Directors of any active match going on or any match being setup). There will be no firearm “preloading areas” (7.2)\n* 1.5 –> ECIs (chamber flags) are optional in PCSL\, but can be required by the club… as such they ARE required at CFRPC whether bagged or not\, handling of PCC’s similar to USPSA ().\n* 1.6 –> much like our LAR rules\, eye protection is REQUIRE at all times\, and hearing protection on active shooting bays.\nEquipment:\n* 2.4.2 –> unlike USPSA\, PCC’s can have braces.\n* 2.1 –> holster and belt\, similar to USPSA\, must cover trigger guard completely\, but leg strap allowed\, 12 o clock carry allowed.\n* 2.6.2 –> Hammer fired handguns may start hammer down (fully decocked is not specifically required) and/or safety applied\, but may not be holstered condition 0 (14.3). Striker fired guns do not require a manual safety if they have an internal safety mechanism or trigger safety. *Note our club still does NOT allow the Sig P320 family and all its variants.\n* 2.7 –> no burst fire / FRT / bump firing / bump stocks (both PCSL and CFRPC club rule)\n* 2.8 –> 3.x ammo: 9mm minimum caliber\, .45 max per divisions\, 1600 fps max\, no rifle calibers (including 5.7×28 and similar).\n* 4.2 –> we use standard fixed squadding\, and the squad is expected to help reset (4.2.2) and breakdown the last stage.\n* Although 7.4 appears to allow “hot re-holstering on the clock”\, for now this is not allowed and it can never be mandatory per 9.11.15 (anyway this is normally an issue for a multi-gun match\, we are ONE gun match).\n* 6.1 –> generally no coaching\, however new or inexperienced shooters can be coached (6.3).\nWALLs:\n* 9.1 –> In PCSL\, 69″ walls go infinitely up and down (i.e. any normal club-used wall\, whether solid or mesh\, sometimes we install walls upside down those will be “under 69 inches” and can be shot over.\n* 9.2 –> Walls clearly intended to be connected at common joints\, corners\, or bases that happen to have gaps: those gaps may NOT be used.\n* 9.4 –> may appear to allow to count shots through wall supports\, however our walls are built and intended to be “all field” ie “all hard cover”. Any full diameter hit through any piece of wall or wall support does not score if it went on to hit a target.\n* 7.9 –> walls may not be used to brace / support your firearm or body\, or push against it to gain a better shooting angle\nDivisions (3.11)\nTHREE Core divisions:\n3.11 COMPetition: Like USPSA open (comps\, frame mounted dots)\, but no power factor (sub-minor gets bumped to open 4.6.3)\, 30+1 magazine load to instead of length limit. No major PF in PCSL.\n3.12 PRACtical: Like USPSA LO+CO\, slide ride dot\, 125PF\, 20+1 magazine load to instead of length limit. No comps or porting.\n3.13 PCC: like uspsa PCC\, but braced pistols allowed\, 125PF\, no coupled mags\nAdditional recognized Divisions\n3.14 Practical Irons: same as Practical but no dot or lasers.\n3.15 Actual Carry Pistol: see the rule book 3.15 on this division has mor extensive rules\, but the spirit is in the name.\n3.16 Ten Round Irons: similar to uspsa single stack\nTargets & Scoring (10.x-11.x)\n* same as USPSA hit factor (11.2)\, but MINOR scoring only (Alpha=5\, Charlie=3\, Delta=1\, Tango=10\, Mike=-10).\n* Hit non threat = -10 each max -20 per non threat\n* 12.x: Procedurals: similar to USPSA -10 each Failure to Engage (FTSA)\, procedural\, foot fault\, etc.)\n* Normal USPSA rules on Shots on the perf line (in the shooters favor)\, overlapping targets (score both)\n* brown paper (10.2.2) or blue steel (10.6.1) = scoring target\, RED = no-shoot (10.3\, 10.8)\, black = hard cover\n* T-zone is “ten points”: one hit in T is scored as if it was two alpha hits.\n* 11.5 unlike USPSA: pass-throughs count if targets are on different “planes” AND if no full diameter hard cover is hit on the way. Targets are on the same plane if they are paper targets attached directly to each other and/or share sticks and score “USPSA” normal.
