DESCRIPTION:To get involved you don’t need a DGRC or NRL22 membership – while a DGRC membership will save you on Range fees it’s not required. The NRL22 membership is only required if you want to report your score up to the National Org level because you’re vying to go to the big national level matches.\nIn terms of getting started\, you can roll with a 10/22 (there are some specific safety things that we will go over with regards to a semi-auto)…you just need to have a good scope (preferably with a X-mas Tree Reticle) and a detachable bi-pod.\nLet me know if you have any further questions! DESCRIPTION:Rifles in the Arena will be a 2 Day\, 12 Stage\, USPSA Level II Rifle Match under the USPSA Multi-Gun Rule Book. It is part of the qualifier series to be selected for the US Team for Mongolia in 2027. It will follow the 3-2-1 IPSC format for a total of 6x short courses\, 4x medium courses\, and 2x long courses. Shooters with optics will register as Open. Shooters using Iron Sights will register as Limited.\nThe match will be held at the 2300 acre Arena Training Facility just outside Blakely\, GA. This facility is a world class training complex complete with live fire shoot house\, 2300y UKD range\, 1000y KD Range\, 300y KD range\, and numerous bays of varying sizes.\nRegistration will be Friday afternoon from 12:00-6:00pm. If you will arrive outside that window\, please notify the match director. A zero range will be available on the UKD range during this time with 36\, 50\, and 100y paper and steel targets at known distance for confirmation. The UKD will remain open during the match.\nThe facility has limited on site lodging available at https://arenatrainingfacility.com/events-cabins/#lodging. The default stay will be Friday and Saturday night. If you want to arrive early or stay later\, please contact the facility by phone or email. There are also 5 electric and water RV hook ups available. Boondocking is also allowed. Please contact the facility staff for all RV reservations.\nAdditional lodging options are highlighted in the Lodging document in Match Documents. DESCRIPTION:This is a Swampland Precision PRS22 Rimfire Rifle Series match with 9-10 stages and targets from 25-310 yards. These matches are meant to be fun and challenging for both experienced shooters and for novice shooters. There is some movement on barricades and positions and may include stages shooting prone or variations thereof.\nNew shooters and Juniors are welcome and encouraged to attend. We encourage experienced shooters to help new shooters\, including loaning gear as needed and discussing finer points that will help newer shooters make hits on targets. Please visit PrecisionRifleSeries.com for information about the Regional Rimfire Series points race\, PRS Rimfire membership\, rules and point system. You do not need to be a PRS member to shoot this match unless you would like to be part of the 2025-2026 season points race.\nTo shoot this match\, it is recommended that you have a bolt or semi-auto .22 rimfire rifle or air rifle and at least one if not two 10 -round magazines\, a good\, zeroed scope capable of dialing 13-15 MILs/45-52 MOA\, known drop data out to 310 yards\, a rear or barricade bag and a front bipod.  Other items that are helpful but not necessary include a spotting scope or binoculars and a Tripod for spotting.\nJuniors 16 years old and under will shoot the match for free. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. DESCRIPTION:Thank for the registering for 8 stage Steel Challenge Match conducted by Homestead Training Center.\nSteel Challenge shooting competitions are governed by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association.\nMatch consists of eight stages\, each of which has five steel targets that range from round ten-inch plates to eighteen-inch by twenty-four-inch rectangular plates.\nEach competitor in the competition will be scored based on the length of time it takes for them to complete each of the stages. The winner of the competition is the competitor who has the lowest overall time.\nA competitor will get a total of five strings per stage\, shooting each stage five times. To establish the competitor’s match score\, the five stage scores will be added together.\nOne hit is required per target\, for each string. The competitor is allowed an unlimited number of rounds. The stop plate is the last target to be shot in a stage. As soon as the stop plate has been struck\, the timer will stop. Any targets that are hit after the stop plate has been hit will come with a three-second penalty per hit. For a run\, there is a maximum time limit of thirty seconds. The competitor will have to stop and reload if they reach the thirty-second-time limit.\nPLEASE MAKE SURE TO COME EARLIER – WE WILL START REGISTRATION AT 7:45am and STOP AT 8:10am SHARP! DESCRIPTION:Our mission is to provide a venue for Steel Challenge (SCSA) shooting and matches and to promote safe\, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition. Pioneer’s outdoor shooting bays are well suited for steel challenge stages and we have first-class equipment that allow us to offer up to eight standard Steel Challenge stages at every match. We’re known for our capable\, experienced and friendly staff.\nSteel challenge is a unique shooting discipline in many ways. The simple and consistent layout combined with a mostly stationary shooter and multiple strings is well suited to shooters of all ages and levels. In addition\, the many divisions offered means that virtually any style gun may be used for competition as long as they are rim fire or pistol caliber. Each division is scored separately so shooters can directly compare themselves with their peers. Although the stages are rather simple\, the goal is to shoot each stage as quickly as possible and even the quickest and most experienced shooters continue to strive to overcome their limitations and improve their performance.\nMatches are typically held the first Saturday of every month April through November.\nNote: Match and Range specific rule (violation subject to match DQ):\n– Cold range; empty magazine well and no rounds in chamber.\n– Please observe PSI range rule of muzzle direction kept below top of berms\, even when reloading.\n– Match policies and procedures:\nPre-registration and early registration only.\nPre-registration and scores at Practiscore.com\nAssigned squads\n– Only one gun/run allowed on match day;  those helping with set-up can shoot a second gun then. DESCRIPTION:Introduction to IDPA\nIDPA is one of the fastest growing pistol shooting sports. WSA Introduction to IDPA Class is exactly what you need to get started with action pistol shooting. This class will teach the basics of IDPA and offer near individualized attention in a comfortable and friendly environment. We will follow an easy to understand format that stresses safety first with hight experienced instructors.\nThis is not a basic pistol course. You are required to have prior safe gun handling experience and completion of a basic firearm/pistol safety class.\nClass schedule:\nSat May 2\, 2025 8:00am – 5:00pm On the range at WSA (6 to 8 hours)\nSaturday classroom and shooting workshop is limited to 30 positions. Fee for the Saturday workshop is $35.00 for WSA members\, $50 for everyone else. Withdrawal up to 72 hours before hand is subject to a $5.00 withdrawal fee. There are no refunds for withdrawals after that.\nAfter you register you will receive a confirmation email. After that you will be approved. After approval you will receive another email with a link to pay. Once you have been approved and have paid you are in the class.
