You will shoot and experience several different real-life self-defense scenarios\n2. Develop and improve the skills that you will need for armed self-defense\n3. Learn the four legal elements that are required to make a self-defense claim in court\n4. You’ll learn when you can legally use deadly force & what your options are for non-deadly force\nNOTE Please do not sign up unless you will definitely show up! You MUST wear regular street clothing\, not fishing jackets like in an IDPA match.\nB. Your regular carry gun and holster. Bring a magazine pouch if you use one on the street. Otherwise\, use your pants pocket\, not your shirt pocket – unless you actually carry that way on the street!\nC. Acceptable calibers: .380\, .38\, 9MM\, 40\, .45 – Absolutely no overly loud loads!\nD. Eyes & Ears – goes without saying.\nE. You MUST conceal your gun while shooting. Absolutely no open carry while shooting. You can’t open carry on the street\, so . . . You can remove your cover garment when you are not shooting.\nF. Please verify that you have registered in the correct Division and Category:\nDIVISIONS AND CATEGORIES\nDivisions\nWe have 5 Competitive Divisions\n– Open Division is for competitors shooting a combined Rifle and Optic with a cost over $1600 USD MSRP. This is based on the listed $USD MSRP published by the manufacturer\, not the user purchased price. It is only for the rifle and optic. No rings\, rails or mounts are to be included in the cost calculation. It is up to the shooter to accurately select the correct division.\n– Production Division – shooters competing with rifle and optics below the $1600 combined USD MSRP (as listed on the company’s website).\no You may not replace your original barrel unless replacing it with an original barrel with the same specifications.\no You may bed your rifle’s action\no You may tune your current trigger but are not allowed to use an aftermarket/replacement trigger.\no You may not replace your stock with a performance stock or chassis.\n– Semi-auto – any and all .22 lr semi-automatic rifles\, regardless of price.\n– Airgun – any and all .22 calibre air rifles\, regardless of price\, will compete in the Airgun division.\no Pellets and slugs must be mass produced and cannot exceed 49 grains.\no For safety reasons\, tethered air tanks are not allowed.\n– Stealth – The stealth division is for competitors who desire to compete but require an altered string or course of fire. DESCRIPTION:This month we are again hosting 2 sessions\, one on SATURDAY June 27th and a second on SUNDAY the 28th.\nWe will have 6 stages of mostly falling steel\, with some other games thrown in.\nYou may sign up to shoot either day or both! These are separate events requiring separate registrations.\nIF YOU GET A NOTICE THAT THE EVENT IS FULL\, PLEASE WAITLIST SO WE CAN GET YOU IN IF THINGS CHANGE.\nSign-in on shoot day in starts at 8am each day at the big shed in the back bays\, MANDATORY safety brief at 8:45-ish\, shooting by 9-ish.\n_________________________________________________________________\nIF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 8:45\, YOU MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE.\n_________________________________________________________________\nWe welcome all shooters\, regardless of skill or age\, as long as you can safely handle your firearm.\nThis a casual\, untimed\, gallery style shoot event\, with the emphasis of SAFETY.\nThis is open to pistols\, PCC’s and shotguns; multigun is allowed on some stages.\nLong guns must be flagged\, and handguns must be holstered or bagged when not on the line.\nFee is $20 per adult\, free for those under 18.
