SUMMARY:SPS 5 STAGE USPSA JULY 11TH
DESCRIPTION:RIMFIRE SHOOTERS ARE NOW PERMITTED!\nFolks wanting to bring their 22lr gun and shoot rimfire at a USPSA match are welcomed here as long as they follow the same safety standards as people shooting centerfire. This is intended for those who are looking to get into USPSA and don’t want to shoot centerfire\, or those who have difficulties shooting centerfire. If you can and have the ability to shoot a centerfire gun\, please shoot a centerfire gun. There will be some caveats as rimfire shooters will not be able to classify in any official USPSA divisions and any steel will also have to be repainted before a rimfire shooter shoots a stage. Rimfire shooter’s scores will be deleted from the match before upload\, but an email will be sent out before with all of the scores. If you want to shoot rimfire\, please choose either the (Rimfire Rifle) or (Rimfire Pistol) divisions.\nThis match will be held at the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association Pistol Pit Complex. Match sign-in\, match day payment\, and set-up will begin at 8:00AM\, all those wishing to help set-up are always welcomed.\nThere will be a mandatory safety briefing at 10:00AM and the match will begin\nWe will shoot 4 original and exciting USPSA stages that we have crafted along with 1 classifier stage.\nMinimum round count for the match is undetermined as of (5/12/26)\, please come back here in the future for a round count.\nThe match will follow USPSA Rules. Shooters are responsible for being in compliance with equipment requirements mandated by the rules for the division they choose to shoot in. Current USPSA rules are here: https://uspsa.org/rules\nAs a safety precaution for all of our shooters\, registrants we are not familiar with will be contacted to verify they have appropriate familiarity with safety aspects of the match before being allowed to shoot in the match.\nMatch pre-payment is possible using the credit card payment option. It is SPS preference that shooters choose this option as it simplifies match-day administration. Credit card payment does not have to be made at time of registration but must be made by returning to your personal Practiscore match page and paying prior to match day.\nRefunds for cancellations will be given on your credit card account. Alternatively\, cancellations of paid registrations can be credited to a future SPS match pending availability of upcoming matches. Contact SPS if you need to cancel a paid registration. WE WILL WORK WITH YOU.\nMatch cost is 10$ for entry!

SUMMARY:Flagstaff Action Shooters USPSA for July
DESCRIPTION:Back on track… time for another USPSA match.\nArrive thirty minutes early for check-in\, or ninety minutes early to help with set up.\nThe match will be at Prevail Training Center\, and the fee will be $15 for FAS members\, $25 for non-members. Membership is $50 per year. Kids shoot free. This is payable at the range\, cash or check. We do NOT use PractiScore membership.\nDirections to Prevail Training Center: http://flagstaffactionshooters.org/location\nEye and ear protection are required\, even for spectators\, and you must be present at the safety briefing at the start of the match to participate. All shooters and observers must sign a waiver.\nWe operate under cold range rules. Do not exit your vehicle with a loaded weapon. The only time we handle firearms is at a “safe table” (without ammo)\, or at the at the firing line under the direction of a safety officer. Firearms remain unloaded until the safety officer directs the participant to “make ready.”\nNo SERPA or other trigger finger release holsters (unless permanently disabled and allowed by the match director or range master).\nPlan on a total round count of ~100-150\, many of us bring at least 200 rounds to be safe (or because we miss a lot).\nNOTE TO NEW SHOOTERS: You must have attended our Introduction to Action Shooting class. If you have not\, please email the Match Director to arrange for a briefing before the match.\nIf you are interested in the rules or further information\, here is a link to the rules: https://uspsa.org/viewer/2024-USPSA-Competition-Rules.pdf
