    What We’ll Teach

    Defensive Shooting Fundamentals – Level 1

    Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. The Defensive Shooting Fundamentals class can be taken by anyone of any skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced shooter, you will walk away from this course a better protector of yourself and your loved ones.

    You will learn the concept of balancing speed and precision to begin the course, understanding your individual limits, the importance of accurate hits to target, and ability to quickly engage with a target.

    Other drills may include:

    • How to present from the holster
    • How to perform an emergency reload
    • Lateral movement
    • And more

    Purchasing a gun is part of the self-defense journey, but knowing how to safely and effectively use it is even more important. Education and training are critical methods to ensure students will be ready if they’re forced to use their firearms to defend themselves and their loved ones.

    Additional Notes from Your Instructor

    No cross-draw, shoulder, behind-the-back or ankle holsters are permitted. Holsters should be strongside only.

    Whether you recently purchased your first AR-15 or have owned one for a while but never received formal instruction, this course helps eliminate confusion and build confidence through hands-on education.
